How many kids do you plan to have maximum?
I’m only asking this as several years ago, back in the 1970s - 1990s, people would have several kids compared to now
I’m born in 1994 and I remember lots of people I grew up with had loads of siblings and my cousins from both my parents sides would have eight kids in them
I don’t want to go in the process of having another baby and restarting everything. The sleepless nights, screaming, baby falling ill and everything was too much for me.
In this generation, some people are sticking to one child only or having two or three kids at maximum
Dramatic home birth
Born at home 14th April at 6:02pm. Shoulder dystocia so midwives had to really use their expertise and help her out, then thought they might need to resuscitate so sadly no delayed cord clamping 😢 and of course ambulances called just in case. Even an air ambulance turned up although not needed. There was so many first responders in my house and most didn’t need to do anything but I appreciate all the extra precaution. All the neighbours were on doorsteps wondering what was going on, so wasn’t the calm home birth I planned but it’s a very dramatic story to tell her when she’s older. We’re both doing fine and after observations she’s totally well. I feel like I’ve been through a few wars physically but I’m sure it will all sort itself out eventually. Full of gratitude to all the people involved I our care. Trying to think of the best way to send a massive thanks to everyone, can you send pizza to an MLU? For anyone still waiting, all the best of luck, try your best to use the time while waiting to do things that become very difficult once you have a newborn. Which is basically anything 🤣 each day now I have one goal, something like ‘take a shower’ and it’s an achievement if I manage it!
