Sex after birth

Sooo I’m just looking for some first hand experiences
I had a second degree episiotomy and the idea of sex scares me soo much ! How long did you wait till you had sex again? Did it hurt BAD? Basically I want all the details 😭

For me it did but I also had intensive stitches inside due to bleeding - so not an average ep.
Once healed, I found it very painful and gyne said your scar tissue needs time to stretch and elasticate to your body size and shape which takes longer. And that makes sense.
So I think being realistic, start slow, lots of foreplay, lots of lube and if it hurts stops, give it a week and try again.
Be kind to yourself was the gynecology advice.
So paying it forward x
I had trauma so I found it helpful to retain my brain to remember pleasure their first which means lots of OGs before penetration, which helped a lot! .

White noise for babies… I’m curious what everyone else does 🤍😴

A few questions for you all:

– Do you use white noise for naps, nighttime, or both?
– What type do you use (machine, app, YouTube, etc.)?
– Do you leave it on all night or turn it off once baby is asleep?
– What volume do you keep it at?
– Have you noticed it actually helps your baby settle?
– Do you worry about them becoming dependent on it?
– How long did you use it for?
– When (and how) did you stop using it? 👀
– Did stopping it affect your baby’s sleep at all?

Would love to hear different experiences because I’m still figuring out what works best! 🤍

Could you name a milestone your child/baby met; that had brought you to tears ?

I tried to feed my baby his bottle.. he was quickly annoyed with me holding it. Loll it was so cute how bothered he was. (( Ofc since he is my precious baby. ))I let the bottle go & He then began to hold it himself ! 😍😍😍 I am so proud of all the milestones he is hitting. It brings me tears of gratitude. 💓💓. Seeing his face, light up. He is why I get up everyday & do what I do. I love you Avery Wavery ❤️❤️❤️.

Someone reassure me please

I’ve had such a hectic day, but I washed my son’s cot mattress sheet (we only have 1 atm long story) but I put him to bed and completely forgot to put it back on.

I’m not a bad mum right?? He wakes up around 3.30/4am and I will put it back on then. But he will be fine without it till then won’t he? I’ve never done this and feel so bad for some reason!!

Breastmilk keepsake

Anyone get breastmilk turned into a keepsake?

Im not a big jewelry wearer (wedding ring and the same earrings every day) but love the idea of a keepsake to commemorate the journey of breastfeeding my babies.

Has anyone done anything other than rings and necklaces? Just gotten those and keep them as a thing to pass down to eat baby once I'm gone so they have a piece of our journey?

Would love to hear what you did and who you went through!
