Foldable car seat needed!!

I am needing a spare car seat for grandparent’s cars. It’s too difficult taking ours out the car and then back in, as the isofix is really tricky and seat is heavy. We also need something we could leave at nursery for if a grandparent does pick up.

We need a seat that is lighter in weight, can be fixed in with seatbelt, and preferably foldable for easy storage in the boot when not being used. Just easy to switch between all cars really!

Child has just turned 1 but is on 90th centile. Open to having a seat which is suitable for 15m plus.
Open to any suggestions but definitely don’t want isofix or big/bulky heavy seat.

There isn’t really any safe recommended options many of us would be happy providing that fold and are forward facing.
On the 90th centile, there aren’t many seats that will last past age 3, would that still be okay?

If so, have a look at the graco slimfit r129 or Joie stages x

The only foldable RF seat is the tiny seats 2 which is isofix and there’s the inflatable nachfolger which belts in but it doesn’t last that long (my light kids didn’t get anywhere near 18kg because they outgrew the harness)

There are FF seats but they aren’t a particularly safe option because he is very young.

The thing with small kids is big car seats, it’s just the phase you’re in

Rant and rage

I'm not coping and don't feel supported in the way I need. I try and voice how I feel and I get met with silence and huffs and puffs
My son has problems feeding and gaining weight yet my mil insists on holding and comforting him rather than listening to me saying I should try feed him or change him. I get ignored. Same with my toddler she will continue to give her treats when I say no as 1 was enough and doesn't need 3 of somthing. I feel pushed out and not respected
I'm finding it hard very hard

Difficult time

No one talks about how difficult is being woken up by your toddler at 5am in the morning then trying to entertain them until a reasonable time when shops or parks open…all that while hubby sleeps in undisturbed. And yes I try to wake him up but nothing could move him from the bed.

I personally find that time of the day so difficult when baby tries their best to push boundaries 😔

Weaning

Started weaning my son today, he was 6months on Friday. I tried broccoli blended & a piece of broccoli- he had a few mouthfuls and it seemed positive that he liked it but he did gag a couple of times then projectile vomitted, I’m assuming this is because his stomach is still sensitive etc, he wanted more afterwards so had 2 more little mouthfuls but then I called it a day. Has anyone else experienced this?

Night feeding

Hello

How long are you mamas typically awake overnight per feeding session that your baby wakes up for. Mine is 5 weeks and I’m currently breastfeeding and sometimes I’ll offer top up in a bottle depending on how hungry she is. And I feel like I’m awake anywhere from 1.5-2.5 hours with her each time with feeding, diaper change, burping. Curious how long it is for y’all?
