I was told to be in at 7 am for morning surgery. There were 3 of us and I was last, the first 2 took longer than expected so I didn’t get taken until 1pm. Baby was born within 20 mins of entering the room. We left the next day at 7pm so 36 hours approx we were in for.

They wanted me to pass a certain amount of urine before I left and to pass wind. Thankfully they only had to see the urine 🤣🤣

First was elected C-section and stayed for 3 days. Went in Friday morning and came back Sunday evening. My BP was on the high side after the procedure.

Second was an emergency C-section and stayed for 5 days. Went in Saturday morning and came back Wednesday evening. I did have a Haemorrhage and my infection markers were up.

Less than 24 hours, had my section at 10pm and was discharged by 3pm the next day - was an emergency too x

I had my C-section at around 11am Monday, and was home Tuesday at 5pm. Would have been sooner if they'd have sorted themselves out.

Bleeding

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on who I should contact about this.

I had my baby back in October and had the depo injection afterwards. Since giving birth, I’ve had ongoing discharge and I’m currently waiting to see a gynaecologist about it. However, I had sex last Sunday and I’ve been bleeding ever since (over a week now). I haven’t had any pain, but it’s worrying me.

I know you’re usually under the midwife for a year after birth — should I contact them about this, or has anyone else experienced something similar and can suggest who I should speak to?

I’m just not sure what to do next 😭

I dont want to hear about positive induction stories as this just isnt a route im willing to go down

Baby head not engaged

I’m 38w3days and had a midwife appointment this morning where they said her head isn’t fully engaged in the pelvis yet, it’s slightly to the left.. she didn’t seem to think it’s an issue but now I’m panicking a little, is this normal for a FTM at this stage? I’ve been doing so much walking and hip circles/bouncing on ball too!

24 week appointment today

This is my second baby and I thought the 24/25 week appointment was for if it was your first baby? Anyone else having this appointment?

Shocking pain

So I’m now 9 days postpartum and since maybe day 3 or 4 I’ve been getting with random pulsing pain in my mid to lower back that comes and goes and it’s bad enough that I’ve gotta stop whatever I’m doing. Anyone else? x
