Disney stories are actually quite morbid

So I have a Disney book subscription and they send a mystery book each month, we received Bambi this month and I proof read before I read to my baby and I realised it’s quite shocking?? Like the idea of the mother being absent or dying, and I realised a LOT of Disney stories have a dead mother - Aladdin, Snow White, The little mermaid, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Finding Nemo and even more!
I’m actually quite disgusted I don’t want my child to be normalised to the idea of mothers leaving or dying so I will definitely be writing over the pages to change the stories to INCLUDE the mother!

(Maternal attachment is crucial for babies, providing a secure foundation that fosters healthy brain development, emotional regulation, and resilience)

Just wanted to point this out to other mums who also might think like me

I saw a very faint line when I tested (my husband saw it too) but didn’t look like a proper line and I ignored it. Half an hour later it’s gotten darker. Is this an evap line? Photo is from 30 mins after taking the test.

What a twat I am

So I’ve stupidly took a test today at 8dpo obvs negative. It wasn’t even my first wee of the morning it was like my 2nd or third! of course it’s going to be negative ffs 🤣 and now im thinking I’m 100% out this cycle 😬 loool. No seriously I’ll be shocked if not pregnant this cycle as we BD like 3 times during my fertile week including my peak day and day before that and also other symptoms I’m having so I’ll be shocked if nothing this cycle. Why did I do this to myself 🤣 now I’m in a shit mood what a twat I am🫤🤣

Donor egg tell or dont tell

Please do not judge. I am going to do donor egg and husband sperm. I am muslim and its very taboo. It isnt something i want anyone ever knowing NOT because I am adhamed but simply because of the ignorance around it. I am thinking to share with my child however very much scared of it coming out. Please help!

Anyone have experience with Preview pregnancy tests?

How accurate are they? Got a super faint line on one at 8 DPO. I don’t have any other tests to double check with, and frankly I’m too afraid to anyways! I’ve had indent lines on these strip tests before. So I don’t know whether to trust it or not 😫
