I had a planned C-section two in the day of when I was about to go in. They called me at three in the morning and said that they had a lot of women in labor and we would have to schedule it for a later time.

There’s a lot of women who have to stay there are multiple days to be monitored or they just might have a lot of plant C-sections that are taking longer than expected

it might be so that care coordination is easier since it is the weekend, less days off a typical 9-5 etc but idk that’s assuming they’re trying to be helpful, i know for me i was able to be induced at 39 weeks so since it was a planned cesarean they might have just assumed the difference to not matter / want to do it sooner rather than later

Maybe your ob won’t be in that day? My ob did work in two hospitals and would sometimes have to move my appointments around because she had deliveries. My c-section even got moved up a day because she wouldn’t be at my hospital on the original date

Mine got moved forward a day because they had 2 people with GD on same day and no one the day before

it happens, i was scheduled for the 10th and then at my ob appointment they told me they switched it to the 5th

Mine got moved up a day because they had a “sooner” opening. Why didn’t you ask? Unless, they left a VM then why didn’t they elaborate🤔🤔🤔 either way probably nothing to worry too much about 🙂

Screening 12 weeks

I had my blood test on Thursday last week and some of my results have been published but not the Downsyndrome, Edward’s and patau results which I’m most anxious about. Is this normal or should I be worried that they are the only two not published?

For those that get checked for dilation.

How bad is it? Like? Does the dr start with one or two fingers? What does it feel like? It’s been 7 years and apparently I can’t for the life of me remember the feeling of being checked. 🤔

C section and bathing

How long after your c section did you have a bath? I had mine 4 weeks ago, is it too soon to have a bath?

34 weeks pregnant!!

In a week and a half Dr gonna check me for dilation but in the mean time, how many of us actually saw our mucus plug? My first baby I did. The only reason I knew i was ready to go have him was because I was passing blood clots that morning and went to er to get checked and sure enough was 4 centimeters dilated and had actually saw my mucus plug. The contractions weren’t even bad enough to mention.
