Second time labour

I had an emergency c -section with my first, and then with my second, I had a scheduled c- section, but she ended up coming on her own, so I had a vbac. They still gave me the option for having a c-section. & I had to sign papers opting out of it. I was terrified of having a vbac but everything worked out ok.

did she end up coming much earlier than expected? Also if you don’t mind sharing how did you find vbac after having an emergency c-section first?

My second time was longer (nearly 30 hour labour) but that’s coz with my first time I was given pitocin to move things along. I think had I let my body do its thing and I was able to progress on my own I might’ve laboured my first for longer.

I had an emergency C-section with my first after being induced and had my second by elective c section at 39+5. I booked the elective as didn’t want to be induced again but was willing to try natural if he came on his own, I had 4 sweeps to try and get him to come natural but by my section date there was no signs of him being ready so went ahead and had my elective section. If I didn’t want to try and go natural though and went into labour, they advised they’d of still gone ahead with my elective section. You just go in and they do a section anyways. X
