I could have wrote this myself! 😆
My first baby was a breeze so settled and content but I’m currently napping trapped with second baby who hates being put down ! But Myns only 3 weeks old and it’s normal for them to want to be close to you when they’re so little! I’m just trying to tell myself this stage doesn’t last forever and try to enjoy it

mines doing the same lol she’s 6 weeks tomorrow and has recently wanted to only be held- it’s so frustrating!! But always try to remember that they are only this small once and they will only need you this much once/now! It helps me alot.

My baby’s 4 weeks old this Friday and when I have to many visitors over and she’s being held more then usual we normally have about 24 hours where she’s screaming to be picked up constantly iv had to message my family and friends telling them to reduce how long they are holding her because there’s no way I can hold my baby constantly!

Mines exactly the same even had to have a wee holding her so she wouldn’t wake everyone else up. 😂

My first was so chill in comparison

5 weeks, exactly the same just started in the last few days or so. He lulled us into a false sense of security at the beginning! My twins weren’t really like this either but I guess they always had each other x

Could’ve written this myself 😂 5 weeks old today and unbelievablely fussy, starving all the time, not sleeping at night or only for an hour/2!!!

Mines exactly the same and 8 weeks this Thursday! My first wasn’t like this at all. She’s been like this since 4/5 weeks so not looking like it’s getting better any time soon!

My boy is 6 weeks and the same, weirdly he sleeps well overnight in the next to me though?! But day time, unless we are out and he's asleep in the pram he is crying to be held!

Was the nursery carer wrong for saying this?

My baby is starting nursery (she’s 13 months). Today was her first settling in hour. My baby has CMPA and we are working on introducing dairy to her with a dietician. For now she can’t have cows milk. She’s still breastfed. They said she can have oatmilk with breakfast and I’m happy with this as we do this at home too. However they also offer them milk to drink and I said I’m happy to provide breastmilk. The manager emailed me about it earlier and said it’s fine as long as it’s clearly labeled. The nursery worker seemed not keen and said she can drink oat milk and she can have breastmilk at home. Is it just me or was that comment wrong?

Infant in front seat?

Looking for advice, I have to drive 2 hours with just me and my infant and I’m worried if he gets unsettled in back of car that I won’t be able to tend to him but also anxious of putting him in front seat. Has anyone ever travelled with infant in front seat and has any advice on the subject? TIA ❤️

Haven holiday travel cot

Has anyone use one of the travel cots provided on a Haven holiday? We go away next week and they say the mattress isn't provided with the cot. Wondering if I need to buy a mattress or if they're comfortable enough that if they've got the base board thing that I could bring a couple blankets and a fitted sheet to pop over the top?

Early walking and head bumps

My son is 9.5 months has been crawling for the last few days and is also loving pulling up on furniture and he keeps falling into furniture he’s pulled up on. Or he falls back and bumps his head that way. It’s been 4 days and he’s had a head bump a day already and I’m with him each time just don’t catch him in time or he goes another direction. Is this just something that I just accept and try to reduce the risk as much as possible or are there other options?
