Baby Scan - Growth / Weight

I had a growth scan today , 34+4 weeks , and baby is 6lb 11oz and on 98th percentile 👀
What did other peoples babies weight at this point of Gestation?
Been given the choice of an elective c section or IOL at 38 weeks due to GDM.
Help a FTM out please x

I had one at 34+4 weeks, and she weighed 5lbs. Which was the 28th percentile I believe. I'm 37+3 weeks now, but I haven't had another scan since.

I had a scan yesterday and he was estimated 6lbs 2oz. All his measurements are between 47-52% apart from his legs which are 97% 💀 I averaged at 73rd percentile because his legs dragged the average up. But it’s worth noting my partners sister in law got told pretty similar to you and got induced then had c section at 38 weeks and baby was only 7lb so measurements can be waaaay off

Gestational diabetes

Hi everyone!

I’m feeling so down at the minute. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 25 weeks, so now 5 weeks. I’ve trialed metformin and could only stomach 2 tablets but my fasting levels were still to high so they introduced insulin too. I’m now on 18 units and it’s still out of range!!

I know it’s not what I’m eating because my after meals are all within range it’s literally just my fasting, but it’s so frustrating.

What insulin levels do you take before your fasting levels settled? Just feel so guilty that it’s passing to my baby x
