Toddler classes

So when I was on maternity leave I did baby sensory, baby massage and other classes to give us some structure to our days.
I made loads of great friends too ☺️

However now we’re all back at work I don’t get to see my pals anymore. Plus the days I am at home it’s turned into more doing errands with my daughter.

I only work three days a week and I think if I see our local park or library one more time I’m going to scream! I want our fun days back.

What classes are you currently enjoying with your toddler? For reference she’s 19 months, walks well and is really trying hard to talk.

Gymnastics. Tumble Tots do a class and there’s usually lots of different sport centres that run them too. Also forest school stay and plays.

If they haven’t already your kid will stay getting into imaginary play soon, so all those imaginary play places are a good shout too. There’s one near me and it’s only £6 for 1.5 hours.

This is gonna make me sound crazyy

So this is gonna make me sound crazy but it really bothered me, lol. My husband works pest control. He only has a work phone so his personal number at work is my number. Sometimes his boss will call my number on accident but usually all communication goes through work phone. I get a call today from a woman he works with, didnt know that's who it was. She works in office, been there maybe 1.5 months, but has tagged along with him once. They didnt even talk according to him. So I text the number because I dont answer numbers I don't know and this is what she says. The"wow didnt even save my number" REALLY bothered me because it just felt a little too friendly in my opinion. Idek what I'm looking for with this post but I have no friends. I asked my husband about it and he basically just cussed me out telling me its nothing etc and ignored me all day so. Then turned his location off. That just made me spiral. I know I'm way overthinking it but idk.🙃 To add, i already have a tough spot for this girl because before they even met she was texting him "I can't wait to meet you! I hear you're amazing" Which he told me nothing of. 🙃

In laws didn’t get me a bday gift…

Just need a moment to vent. My in laws didn’t get me anything for my birthday this year - just a card that they nearly forgot about as is. They have always done gifts and got my SIL a gift just last month…

I don’t need anyone to say “well maybe they are having money issues” or whatnot. We have a shared Amazon account so I see their orders 🙈 just in general feeling like they only like me at this point because I grew them a grandbaby

Also to point out for my birthday we went to a hockey game. I purchased the tickets for everyone, my in laws included…

Dad not participating much…

Hey ladies. More and more I start to notice that my husband doesn’t really participate much in raising our girl. She’s 5 months. I’m stay at home mom and still wake up at night for feeds. I’m the main parent and there’s nothing wrong with it but it would be nice if my husband helped after work. He gets up at 5am so he can gym and then go to work till 4. He is then tired and exhausted. He works a corporate job as a manager so he’s not actually in labor intensive work just a bunch of meeting and desk work. Now I’m not diminishing his work, all types of work are exhausting in their own way. But after work he plays with the baby for 10/15 minutes and then he’s fed up and just watches tv or on his phone “resting”. Where’s my rest? I clean and cook and shop and entertain (we all know how exhausting it is to entertain a baby). After work I get his dinner ready and he usually eats dinner on his own while I just sit there with the baby entertaining (hungry) and then when I went to go wash her bottles and asked him to watch the baby, she was just laying on a couch fussing while he watched tv, he asked what I’m doing why is she fussing, I told him that she probably wants to be played with. He proceeded to say “husband up early, work, come home, baby and sleep and it’s all over again tomorrow” I took offense to the baby part cause he made it sound like he didn’t want to deal with her and it’s now a chore. Like I’m fine with 1 kid. But he wants 4. And I don’t think I want to have more than 2 if this is how it is. Most of the free time he games and sometimes plays with baby. But let me tell you, he doesn’t know how much oz she drinks, or that she doesn’t take bath every night now, or how to put her to nap. He feeds her ever so often if I ask. And changes a diaper maybe a few times a month (generous). I won’t tell him anything cause he’s sensitive. And he always hits me with I do this so you can stay at home with the baby. And yes my life is awesome, I have money and jewelry and few vacations a year. But I all that means nothing if im the only one raising her and he’s not involved as much as he actually thinks. Like he wouldn’t even know how to properly get her to sleep for the night.

Reconnecting with partner

Ever since I had my baby, which is now six months, I have had trouble reconnecting with my partner. My time is so dedicated to the baby that when he gets home from work I don't have much energy left and I usually end up going to bed at the same time as the baby. Does anyone have any tips on how to reconnect emotionally, and physically with your partner?

Screen time

I’ve been cutting back on screen time as of late I feel like a bad parent just letting him watch tv , I read to him , I narrate things we do throughout the day but I feel like the tv is becoming a must have when he’s crying I’ll turn on the tv and he will immediately stop , we have been doing walks maybe 2-3 times a day what are some other things to do that don’t involve tv ?
