Is this a bump?

I feel like I am being super stupid here.. I want to say it’s a bump but I’m only 13 weeks (today) with my first baby so surely it’s too soon for me to be showing? I’m super excited at the thought of a bump so I don’t know if I’m just getting excited over bloat or something..

Blood thinning injections.

I’m gutted … so I left hospital yesterday and they’ve prescribed me 6 weeks of clexane! 6 weeks! I know it’s for a reason but seems so unfair. She also said I have to keep my stockings on that long too!

Anyone else doing the same?

Birthdays

Hey!
My little boy is going to be 2 in August. I’m really stuck on whether to throw him a party or not. Any ideas? We’ve got quite a big family so a party is ideal as at least everyone can see him but then I also think that they could make the effort and try and see him without a partyπŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ (a lot of the family don’t really bother to see him unless we make plans with them)..

Please help- thank you!’

Induction or Planned C-Section

I'm 32 weeks at the moment and have been told I will be booked in to speak the consultant around 34/36 weeks as they will want to discuss induction due to GD. It is currently diet controlled well and baby is measuring 88th centile for my height, weight and ethnicity, so I was told if that continues they would allow me to go to 40+4 days only. My plan initially was to say an induction can be booked for then and no earlier, and then just pray for baby to arrive before that. However after speaking to some friends they suggested booking an elected c-section. That way I can have more say over the process, less intervention brought on by inducing labour and overall feel settled and in control of my decision.

Please could you share if you chose induction or elective c-section, why you chose that and if you would do it differently now in hindsight?

Moving from bassinet to stroller

Hi all - when are you moving your baby from the bassinet on the pram to the stroller version/stroller pram? My little one is 17 weeks and seems to always be straining to sit up (ab workout!) and doesn't sleep in the pram, I think partially due to reflux and hating lying flat but also he seems to be staring out and fascinated by the trees and light and shadows. He'll often just cry in frustration instead! Thanks!
