I am wondering about taking a car seat in a taxi. I am having an elective c section and my partner doesn't drive so we will need to get a taxi to and from the hospital. Does anyone have any idea about fitting our car seat in a taxi? I know we can take one in a taxi, I'm just a bit confused about how to fit it, or does the seatbelt just go across it or what??!!

I would advise watching a YouTube video. Type in the brand of the car seat and installation after and see how it’s recommended to fit. There are lots of types on there x

Most taxi drivers know how to install car seats and will be happy to help you but definitely watch a video for your specific car seat just in case

Will depend on the car seat itself . As others have suggested , YouTube your specific car seat . If it’s a standard infant carrier they’re really easy to seat belt in (if you know what you’re doing prior)
