When you drive alone with the baby/toddler what do you do when to stop and need to fill up gas

I’m a new drives and this a question that goes through my minds as I don’t feel like leaving my toddler alone in the car even if it’s locked but there’s different situations like she could be sleeping, so I wanted to ask what the mommy’s do?

I usually just go to a pay at pump location. If your in the UK almost all tesco or sainsburys petrol station have at least a few pay at pump. Our local asda is unmanned so theyre all pay at pump.

If you leave the car. Baby leaves the car you never leave bay alone in the car.

Always pay at the pump. If for some reason I need to go inside then I take him with me

There’s carseats that click onto a stroller so you can take the carseat with you if baby is sleeping. Or like some people say go to a self service one. Of course it all depends on which country you live in as well.

Take them in. But I try and always go somewhere that I can pay at pump so I don't have to do this especially now I have two children as it would be a huge pain to take both in with me.

Is your child at 2 years still rear facing in the car seat?

I dont know many that do it at this point although it is safer. We stopped as its now much easier managing melt downs and being able to soothe and comfort but the actual recommend age is till 4 years old! And some seats go to 6 years old 🫠.. wondering if I should start reintroducing backwards sitting again.. its such a boring ride for a toddler though

No Breast Milk …

Hi mumma’s ! A little vulnerable moment coming up …

Had baby girl 6days ago ! The most amazing little blessing.

However … my breast milk has yet to come in ! I didn’t produce much colostrum and I have inverted nipples so I always knew breastfeeding would be hard … but NOT impossible

Anyway … I suffered a lot of trauma giving birth, haemorrhaged and lost 2L of blood etc

My question is to the mumma’s who had delayed milk production and the mummas with inverted nips !!

- How are you are doing it ?
- When did your milk come in ?
- Any tips and tricks ??

Struggling

this is so uncomfortable for me to post but I want to know if anyone feels the same way…

my baby is just over a month old and he only ever cries when he is with me, he’s fine with his dad and both sets of grandparents but he cries and cries when he’s with me..

I’ve convinced myself he hates me, is anybody else’s baby like this or does he just really not like me :(

Baby dislikes crib

My baby hates sleeping in her crib and it’s probably due to co sleeping for so long she is 8 months now and completely refuses to sleep in her crib meaning she ends up back in the bed this seems like a never ending issue because we still go round the same cycles any advice would be helpful thankyou! 💕

Do you wash new clothes before you wear them?

i typically always do and have been called dramatic for this😭 a lot of clothes are curated with dyes and chemicals that can be cancer causing and actually many clothes tags say wash before wear! also i think most clothes come from warehouses that could have bugs and possibly rodents lol not here to convince anyone just curious
