Baby dislikes crib

My baby hates sleeping in her crib and it’s probably due to co sleeping for so long she is 8 months now and completely refuses to sleep in her crib meaning she ends up back in the bed this seems like a never ending issue because we still go round the same cycles any advice would be helpful thankyou! 💕

Anxiety

I feel like such a shit person, I had my baby last week after a fairly traumatic birth - I’m so in love with him but also I’ve been feeling really down and irritable since we’ve been home. My partners so supportive which makes me feel worse! We’ve had endless visitors and tomorrow my partners sisters coming down from a few hours away for the day she’s really full on at the best of times and obviously she’s going to be so excited to meet him etc and will love him - I’m just struggling with people having him etc at the moment and I feel terrible for it! I’m so overwhelmed I’m freaking out about them coming here and just taking over with him 😢 has anyone else been feeling like this? Am I being awful 🥺

Bad behaviors

Incog so I’m not exposing my 3.5 yr old. She’s not really bad - it’s just everything she does pisses me off. How do you all deal?

Ex; Hates daddy and wants to do everything with mommy. Won’t even let him take her out of the car seat.

Ex; I said no to a lollipop on the way to daycare. She was screaming, crying, and kicking the back of my chair.

Ex; Time to eat breakfast? Time to brush teeth? Time to pee? Time to dress? Time to sleep? Won’t budge.

Ex; Pushes and sometimes hits her little sister mostly over playtime.

In general, she does everything I tell her not to do and does everything she’s not supposed to do. I’m losing it.

Also, her “hating” daddy is a problem. She will sometimes hit or scratch him.

What do I do OMG.

When did your baby start to cry less?

Looking for some light at the end of the tunnel 😅

At what age did your babies fussiness lessen and they started to cry less frequently?

Baby is currently 5 weeks old and some days he is calm and happy with only short periods of fussiness, but other days he is very fussy. We’re pretty sure a lot of it is down to gas and overtiredness which we’re doing every thing we can to help with.

But in general, at what age did you notice a shift in general fussiness lessening?

How's your sleep?

I have a breastfed 5 week old who I co-sleep with. Please be real with me about how your baby is sleeping right now?

We have good nights and bad nights. On the good nights he wakes up around 12am, 3am and 6am and then we can sleep in until around 8am. On the bad nights, he wakes up at all these hours and in between, often crying inconsolably. Feeding doesn't settle him or put him back to sleep, he just seems uncomfortable and spits up a lot.

Last night I gave up at 4am and watch TV in the lounge with him instead and he was much calmed once we left the bedroom.

I can cope with the lack of sleep but I get so overwhelmed by the crying where nothing I do seems to help him. I have to remind myself that this won't last forever but I feel right in the thick of it right now.
