Anterior placenta mummys

Mums with anterior placenta babies what are we doing to help them sleep by themselves?

I’m a mum of 2 but when the 2nd was born they told me I had anterior placenta, obviously that means they could struggle to sleep without having something next to their face.

I haven’t done my research on anterior placenta babies as they told me I was only half anterior (my placenta was on the side)

Should my 4 almost 5 week old have a bedtime?

My baby girl will be 5 weeks on Tuesday (28th), she’s breastfed and sleeps well mostly but is usually up every 2-3 hours for a feed. I haven’t noticed a routine and has been co/sleeping for the last 2 weeks as she got a little cold and fusses a lot now when I try to put her in the sleepyhead. I’m not sure if the cold is what’s thrown everything off but should she have a bedtime or routine by now? I just go by her and what she wants at the moment…

Just sharing

I have an almost 9 week old baby, and she never slept independently since day 1. I tried putting her on her crib for nap times during the day but not even 20 mins and she is going to wake up, same at night. She will just sleep if she is in her carrier, or we are in bed but I should be beside her. I feel like I’m doing something wrong.

9 week old sleeping through the night

For the past 2 nights my baby has slept through the night 😱
Yesterday she lasted 7h since the last feed until she woke up asking for food and today it's been 8h.
She got her jabs on Wednesday and she's been eating a little bit less (normally 730-820ml per day and for the past 4 days only about 700ml). Should I be concerned? She's otherwise very good, plenty of wet nappies and super alert when awake. I still feed her the same amount of times, just offering it more frequently

Breastfeeding with piercings?

I am 34 weeks along and my midwife told me if I want to breastfeed I should take my piercings out now, but when I had a home visit with a nurse she said I shouldnt have to take them out except when feeding or pumping. So I am just curious if there are any moms who have their nipples pierced who have been either breastfeeding or pumping and what's been your experience so far?

Anyone awake?

It’s one of the hard nights when baby won’t go to sleep, my partner does the first part of the night (usually until 4am), at 2am he was desperate because baby won’t sleep at all. He changed him 3 times and fed him a whole bottle of formula. I got up and breastfed him once at 2am and now I’m currently breastfeeding again. I feel like this baby won’t let us sleep tonight so just wanted to see if anyone is in the same situation.
This too shall pass. ✨

Elective C Section and Breastfeeding

Hi girls

My c section is booked next week and I'm excited and terrified in equal measures!!

Please can you give me your top tips for helping your milk supply along. Ive tried pumping colostrum at 37 and 38 weeks and just getting little trickles, nothing worth collecting. I've heard breastfeeding feeding is harder after an elective section.

Any advice would be amazing! Xx
