Changing/bathing in front of the child

Hello mammas,

I need your advice. I have a boy and he is 1 year and 2 months old. My husband works 12 hours a day and I have no family or friends nearby, since we moved when my boy was 1 month old. Due to this, I am taking showers or changing in front of him. I cannot do this while he is sleeping, as in the second i leave the bed, he wakes up instantly.

Untill what age can I still do this in front of him, without damage? I would hate to have mommy issues or God knows what because I want taking showers with him

I’d say maybe age like 4/5? For now I don’t think this will cause any harm or anything at all x

Elective C Section and Breastfeeding

Hi girls

My c section is booked next week and I'm excited and terrified in equal measures!!

Please can you give me your top tips for helping your milk supply along. Ive tried pumping colostrum at 37 and 38 weeks and just getting little trickles, nothing worth collecting. I've heard breastfeeding feeding is harder after an elective section.

Any advice would be amazing! Xx

Still multiple wakes each night

Hoping I’m not alone in my tiredness! My 15 (nearly 16 month) year old still wake around 3 to 4 times each night. It has become almost the same time now each night at 11pm, 1am, 3am and then varies from 6am - 7am wake up. His normal routine is first nap around 11am for 2 hours then bed at 7/7:30pm. We do rock to sleep after feeding milk. When we woke in the night we have weaning off giving him milk but now he just wakes for cuddles and rocking each time. Anyone experiencing the same? I really don’t want to do sleep training but not sure what I need to change! X

Breastfeeding with piercings?

I am 34 weeks along and my midwife told me if I want to breastfeed I should take my piercings out now, but when I had a home visit with a nurse she said I shouldnt have to take them out except when feeding or pumping. So I am just curious if there are any moms who have their nipples pierced who have been either breastfeeding or pumping and what's been your experience so far?
Editing to add: I don't mean I want to leave the piercings in while I'm breastfeeding or pumping. I mean taking them out while doing so but putting them back in after.

Where do you put baby to sleep during day?

Where do you put baby to sleep during the day? In your living room or in another room? Do you darken the room during the day while they sleep? Do they already have a sleeping routine during the day ? (8 weeks old)

Does your partner stay awake ridiculous hours on the weekend knowing he’s already tired?

My partner continues to complain about being tired but constantly goes to bed after 11 weekdays and usually after 1 am on weekends, which means he never wakes up for our kids on the weekend I’m always up with them even if that is after I’ve had a night out. Is this normal or
