Are baby swings worth it?

I’m thinking of buying a baby swing, I have a 3 month old who never wants to be put down during the day and I’m finding it really hard to get anything done, eat, shower etc. We have a bouncer but he’ll only tolerate it when he’s in the right mood and only for a few minutes.
Just wondering what people’s experiences are with baby swings? Do they actually work? My partner thinks it will be another gimmicky thing, but I’m getting pretty desperate!

Yes, I think they’re worth the money.
You can check Facebook marketplace if you don’t want to purchase a brand new one.

I’d say it’s worth it! We have a 9 week old, and he’ll now happily sit in it for a bit while we eat dinner or do housework. I put some high contrast pictures and a mirror tied to the side and he smiles and coos at them :) x

None of my kids liked them much and if your baby is already 3 months they’ll probably outgrow it pretty soon tbh

Baby rice

Hiya ladies
My little boy Benjamin is 9weeks old and already in 3-6 months clothes, he’s having 7oz of hungry baby milk every two hours however he does sleep 9pm to 6-6.30am (9 hours) every night
How early did you start giving your baby rice in the morning, I feel Benjamin needs just needs that little extra

Morning wake up time

My 10 month old used to wake up at 6:30am or 10 minutes before but last couple weeks it’s been 6am. His bedtime is 7pm now used to be 6:30pm. Is anyone else in the same boat? And when will he start sleeping past 6am? He has 2 naps 1 hour each, sometimes less.
Total sleep is 10-11 hours in 24 hours?

I’m really struggling in the mornings. Is anyone else in the same boat as us? Is this normal? What do I need to tweak to get him to sleep past 6am? 🥲😭

Discipline?

My son is 20 months and was jumping on the bed today and I was telling him we sit down on the bed because we don’t want to get a coco.(cut) he just kept laughing and doing it. I grabbed his hand and sat him down. How does everyone tell their child no without saying no? Because if I said no he just would say no jump and still do it. Also my bf would talk to him in a serious tone right away listens I do it and nothing and I’m the one with him 24/7 so if anyone has any advice on what to do and how I can better my methods because I don’t want him to be one of those kids that no one wants to be around 😅

Is it bad???

That I’m one and done? I feel so guilty to not give my daughter another sibling but she is a hard baby and newborn stage was so awful for me and struggled really bad with PPD.

Also not support from family members either so it just me and husband

Thoughts?

Pumping

Hi! If I’m pumping in place of feeding will my supply go down, so at night my one month old settles so much better having a bottle then going back to sleep rather than breast feeding for a hour plus and crying on the boob etc
So last night I pumped for 20 mins instead of breast feeding and gave her a bottle and it was better and a more settled night but I still feel like I want to breast feed even if it means tiredness and tears, then the second feed my hubby can give a bottle then I’ll pump

What do you guys think? She’s coming up 5 weeks and past few weeks have been stressful with latching as fussiness and I’ve cried a lot but I still want to breast feed Which I will do In the day but at night Is it ok for me to miss one and pump instead ?
