Hi! If I’m pumping in place of feeding will my supply go down, so at night my one month old settles so much better having a bottle then going back to sleep rather than breast feeding for a hour plus and crying on the boob etc
So last night I pumped for 20 mins instead of breast feeding and gave her a bottle and it was better and a more settled night but I still feel like I want to breast feed even if it means tiredness and tears, then the second feed my hubby can give a bottle then I’ll pump
What do you guys think? She’s coming up 5 weeks and past few weeks have been stressful with latching as fussiness and I’ve cried a lot but I still want to breast feed Which I will do In the day but at night Is it ok for me to miss one and pump instead ?

A pumping session can replace a feed but you probably wont get as much, pumping as baby would. If it works for you, then that's great.
I found it difficult to get up in the night, just to pump and would rather feed baby myself. Could you do a bottle before bed? Then, the overnight feed, they might still be settled from the bottle enough to latch easily.
