I think depends on your area?

I know of someone that runs on a Saturday once a month but she’s derby/notts based xx

Yes. We do have some in Brighton. There should be listings in your local parenting magazine if there is one, or on the council's website if not. Alternatively, you can ask your hv - our one is who shared the list of all baby groups in the area.

Try your local swimming pool/s. I found in my area that there are some baby swimming classes on a saturday, so thats the main thing we do now.

Unsettled at nursery- NEED ADVICE

Ladies, I am having a massive meltdown here😂 my 15 month old has been going to nursery since January. She does 2 days a week, starting with half days and now doing full days and has been since around March (08:30am - 5pm).

I’ve just got off the phone with the nursery and they have suggested putting her back to half days as she is having more bad days than good.

I have had a massive meltdown, feeling like I am failing her and missing something. She is such a smiley, happy girl when she’s at home and with her grandparents the other 3 days in the week.

I really felt like we were making progress and are now taking a step back (I am probably being over Emotional here).

I do work full time but I am in a very fortunate positions where she doesn’t NEED to go to nursery but we always wanted her to go for social skills etc.

Has anyone experienced this and have any advice?

Greek yoghurt pizza 🍕

200g self raising flour
Teaspoon of baking powder
200g Greek yoghurt.

This makes so much! It’s so soft like bread which is great for babies just starting to try foods or even when you’re out and about ☺️

Just mix everything, roll in a ball then cut into portions (may need more flour when mixing so it’s not so sticky). Then place flour on worktop, roll into little circle pizza shape - bake for 5 minutes (just the dough) then take out, flip over the place everything on top and then bake until cooked (roughly 7-10 minutes). Nursery or Childminders?

My husband and I are currently applying for nursery waitlists for our baby’s childcare but I recently got into a conversation with a mum who favoured childminders for her two children. Anyone with first hand experience able to share which option they chose and why? It’s our first child so we have no experience with it other than the fact I’m a teacher (but for secondary).

Separation Anxiety

Please could anyone advise me on the best way to deal with separation anxiety for my 13 month old? He has been going to nursery since he was 6 months and has always loved going. The past week he has been so upset at handover and not settling and I've been going back for him because he just won't settle. He's also struggling on a night time, he settles fine to go to sleep but then wakes up and won't go back into his own bed. He usually stays with my mum on a Wednesday when he's not at nursery but he won't even settle with her so I have been going to get him from there too. I am just struggling with what to do for the best especially because I am having to take so much time off work.
