You are allowed to give birth in which ever hospital you like theres nothing to do with catchment areas. I live in walsall and my midwife informed me i can go to any hospital in the country as its my choice no one elses

You can give birth at whatever hospital you want, there is no such thing as a catchment area for it so they’re telling you porkies!

When you see your midwife ask for a transfer of care. I come under New Cross but there’s only 0.1 of a mile in it for me between New Cross and the manor but the manor is easier to get to!!! They’re very accommodating, I had my booking appt at Cannock hospital and they were lovely about it xx

I wouldnt go walsall manner if you paid me tbh. Im booked for newcross but I had my last baby at Burton and it was lovely. Really thinking about going back there but the distance puts me off

Infected c section scar

Hi can anyone tell me if my c section scar is infected? I can’t go to my doctors as they are shut and I really don’t want to go to urgent care as I haven’t had the best time with the hospital. I’m stressing out as I’m scared I will get sepsis. I currently have body aches however my bf has currently just had the flu but the scar burns a bit from the area I posted

Hair, weddings and illness

I’m a hairdresser and I’ve woken up sooo sick. But of course it’s my clients last hair appointment before her wedding day this Friday. We’re doing a colour and trim.
16 years and this always never gets easier for me.
On one hand I’ll battle on and come in to work. Im a true girly girl and if I didn’t have my hair done for my wedding I’d freak TF out. So I get it and it’s what makes me just power on 99% of the time. But then there’s always the omg what if I make her sick and she wakes up on her wedding day poorly and it’s all my fault.

I HATE my job for this reason. It’s a constant head f&uk

I’ll probably make myself x10 worse by not resting and it’s going probably send me into anxiety/panic attacks territory for the next few hours while I decide what I’m gonna do.

Big bump...

Is anyone watching their bump get bigger by the day knowing you still have potentially a few weeks to go and completely bricking it? Everyone keeps telling me my bump is huge.. and this isn't my first pregnancy but it's my first big 'proper' bump 😭 I'm not sure if my muscles are just loser or baby is actually that much bigger - and people keep on mentioning it and asking if i'm sure there's only 1 is giving me anxiety

Possible labour?

Sharp cramping for 4 hours last night . It died down & I was able to take paracetamol to try get some sleep . Lower back & lower bump, extremely painful to move positions in bed . I’ve woke up & obviously no waters etc have gone . Any advice?

Children birthdays

I dont like my children’s father and want absolutely nothing to do with him. How did yall manage childrens birthday separately? I used to do them together, but after an event that transpired, I am sooo good on being around him. My childrens bday are a week apart.
