Colostrum??

When did you all start collecting colostrum? I’m 33 weeks and I don’t even know where to start with that lol.

36/37 weeks

It’s not advised to collect colostrum until about 36 weeks as it can cause contractions and send you into early labour. If it leaks a bit use breast pads, but please do not squeeze it out just yet. Speak to your midwife next time you see her, here in the UK they give you colostrum syringes and all that, I presume they’d do the same in the states?

Mine didn’t start coming in until right after i gave birth

I started at about 37 weeks pregnant with my first, they had syringes, a little cup to collect the colustrum and an information pack available where I would go for my midwife appointments. I think I did just a few minutes each side at first and I got very little, and then slowly got more as time went on xx

I never even did it because I had no idea what on earth I was doing and had no support on it 😭

I didnt. Nothing came out at all. But my colostrum was there when baby arrived.

37 weeks you can collect by hand I wouldn't use a pump because it could bring on labor.

Which week did you deliver your first baby?

Hello ladies. I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and I heard that most of the moms deliver anytime after 36 weeks. Which week did you deliver? Please share your experience too.

Don’t like the name because it’s named after a man, like why…. But anyway… anyone else not had any yet? I’m 38 weeks FTM. My mums a midwife and said to get on the red raspberry leaf tea supplements but I’m kinda like my body will do what it’s gotta do vibes. I feel so far away from having this baby, like I could go another month for sure. Does anyone else feel this way?

Hey guys… so this is kinda awkward but I really need to know that I am not alone. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant with third baby. Every time I get pregnant I am aware on how the hormones can affect me and I tend to be more snappy at times. It just seems like since I started showing my boyfriend has not really want to touch me or be intimate.. and when we are half the time he has to stop because “my skin is too hot” and it makes me feel really bad, I know he isn’t trying to hurt my feelings but it still does. I really feel like a part of this is in my head because he is with me but before we would be intimate a couple times a week now it’s been almost a week with nothing. I’m not sure how to bring it up because I get anxiety and I lash out. I’m not sure what to do. I feel like I just need to know I’m not alone.

Migraines?

I’ve had chronic migraines even before pregnancy since I was 7, what exactly is safe to take that is well known? Or is every doctor and OB different? Does it depend how far I am? Please help a girl out 😭

Small babies???

Anyone here have a small baby?? Im so anxious about it all the time. Went to his 4th month check up and hes in the 12th percentile for weight. Hes dropped off his chart 2x now. Im just so anxious. He nurses well and im an overproducer too. Just at a loss. Any other moms struggling with this?
