Hi! Sorry for my grammerš®āšØ
I'm not trying make excuses but I feel like I am
I have a bad hip like pinched nerve, this started when I gave birth to my youngest, 2 years old.
I have a small kitchen, I don't know how we got so many dishes, we don't have a dish washer(I wish)
I have a big tote of dishes and two sink full and a the small counter filled with dishes, most of the dishes are easy, no scrubbing mostly required, but it's the time of standing there, the more I stand there the worse my hip hurts it flares and goes up my back slowly
I want to get them done, I want to get the house clean but every time I do clean, the next day I feel like im in so much pain I can't do anything š

You may have to either store or get rid of dishes and leave enough for each person per meal (one dish, cup and etc.) I have a tote in my basement of extra dishes in case we have a couple of people visiting. Good luck!

Can your spouse not do them? Do you have family who can help? It's more expensive but using paper and plastic dishes might be better and just toss them after if you have no help.

What about getting a bar type stool to sit down whist you do them? Like one for a breakfast bar or somthibg so itās the same height and when you get sore you can sit and do the dishes instead of standing?

We recently got a small dishwasher (tabletop dishwasher) and it's been amazing! Now doing 20min instead of 45min of dishes everyday (big stuff and plastic doesn't go in the dishwasher)

Get yourself a nice anti fatigue mat for in front of your sink. My hubs actually ordered me one from one of his distributors, he got me the retail version w/o holes in it bc Iāve never liked that type, then he cut that huge thing in half so it would fit all the way across my decent sized kitchen. Our cats eventually tore it up & I found smaller, yet still pretty big, cheaper & lighter ones at Samās Club, that I could replace periodically. I also suggest maybe taking your tubs outside, if applicable, w/a bunch of dawn in them, use the hose to let them soak, bring in smaller more manageable amounts, leaving the ones you want to get rid of for last. If youāre like me & have a lawn chair thatās comfortable & a small table or something so you donāt need to bend over, scrub them a bit outdoors & just bring inside to rinse & dry, but pack up what you can do w/o so it never makes the way back into your kitchen. You can donate by bringing them somewhere or put a free sign on the curb.
