How can I get these dishes done quickly

Hi! Sorry for my grammeršŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø
I'm not trying make excuses but I feel like I am
I have a bad hip like pinched nerve, this started when I gave birth to my youngest, 2 years old.
I have a small kitchen, I don't know how we got so many dishes, we don't have a dish washer(I wish)
I have a big tote of dishes and two sink full and a the small counter filled with dishes, most of the dishes are easy, no scrubbing mostly required, but it's the time of standing there, the more I stand there the worse my hip hurts it flares and goes up my back slowly
I want to get them done, I want to get the house clean but every time I do clean, the next day I feel like im in so much pain I can't do anything 😭

You may have to either store or get rid of dishes and leave enough for each person per meal (one dish, cup and etc.) I have a tote in my basement of extra dishes in case we have a couple of people visiting. Good luck!

Can your spouse not do them? Do you have family who can help? It's more expensive but using paper and plastic dishes might be better and just toss them after if you have no help.

What about getting a bar type stool to sit down whist you do them? Like one for a breakfast bar or somthibg so it’s the same height and when you get sore you can sit and do the dishes instead of standing?

We recently got a small dishwasher (tabletop dishwasher) and it's been amazing! Now doing 20min instead of 45min of dishes everyday (big stuff and plastic doesn't go in the dishwasher)

Get yourself a nice anti fatigue mat for in front of your sink. My hubs actually ordered me one from one of his distributors, he got me the retail version w/o holes in it bc I’ve never liked that type, then he cut that huge thing in half so it would fit all the way across my decent sized kitchen. Our cats eventually tore it up & I found smaller, yet still pretty big, cheaper & lighter ones at Sam’s Club, that I could replace periodically. I also suggest maybe taking your tubs outside, if applicable, w/a bunch of dawn in them, use the hose to let them soak, bring in smaller more manageable amounts, leaving the ones you want to get rid of for last. If you’re like me & have a lawn chair that’s comfortable & a small table or something so you don’t need to bend over, scrub them a bit outdoors & just bring inside to rinse & dry, but pack up what you can do w/o so it never makes the way back into your kitchen. You can donate by bringing them somewhere or put a free sign on the curb.

True or false? šŸ’™šŸ©·

My first pregnancy I had a boy, no symptoms at all wouldn't have even known that I was pregnant. I am now 6 weeks pregnant with my second and oh my goodness I feel so rough, so tired, so drained, sick and headaches.

Is it true or have others experienced where symptoms have been different or worse due to gender? šŸ©·šŸ’™

Never ending appointments

Anyone else sick of getting new appointments šŸ˜…

Currently 32+6
- had a midwife appointment today
- 33+6 Fetal medicine scan & consultant
- 35+1 normal scan & consultant
- 36+6 midwife

Dates TBC;
- 2x steroid appointments
- Pre op appointment
- Anaesthesiologist appointment

- HIGHLY likely to be another scan & consultant between 35 weeks and 37 weeks

And I’m due to have babies between 37+0 - 38+0

That’s 4-5 weeks with 10 appointments that I know of šŸ˜“ more could be added šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø I can barely drive at this point yet I’m none stop back and forward

Weaker baby’s movements

Hi everyone,

I’m currently 38+6 (first pregnancy, low risk, baby measures at 70th percentile.

Over the last few days I’ve noticed my baby’s movements feel weaker and less frequent than usual (still there, just different). I’ve also been having period-like cramps, mostly at night or early morning, but otherwise I feel fine.

I went to triage and had a CTG – everything looked reassuring and I felt around 4–5 movements in 25 minutes (however they still felt weaker).

The doctor said it could be because baby is now very low, so movements feel different, but also mentioned a small risk that baby might not be 100% well. Because of that, I’ve been offered an induction.

I initially declined as I was a bit overwhelmed, but now I’m unsure what to do.

Has anyone experienced reduced/weaker movements at this stage with a normal CTG? Did you go ahead with induction or wait? Would really appreciate hearing your experiences

Wedding entrance

So I’m not sure if this is an American custom making its way across the pond, but does anyone else find those elaborate wedding reception entrances with songs and dances and all that, just a bit tacky?

Scottish Names living in Canada

Slightly unique ask here… Scottish girl living in Canada. Would love a nod to babies Scottish heritage in the their name. Pretty set on a girls name. We’re undecided on a boys name. My husband thinks people will pronounce Ruairidh (Roo-Ree) as Rory in North America. He is nervous people will automatically call Harris - Harry!? Open to any other suggestions.
