Small age gap

Morning everyone!🄰

I am just after some honest advise
I have an 8 month old, soon to be 9 months and I have found out I am 7 weeks pregnant. It will be a 16 month age gap which is quite a small gap, is anyone else in the same position or similar age gap?

How did people/ your employer react?
I haven’t gone back to work yet, I am due back next month and I am really struggling with the thought of telling them I am pregnant again as I will only be back at work for around 5/6 months and I feel awful!

Thank you in advanceā˜ŗļø

I’ve just had my second baby and I have a 17 month age gap. For me, it’s such a lovely age gap. Yes, it can be tough with them both so young but my eldest is so sweet and helpful with the newborn and she’s not old enough to be jealous or anything like that. He is 8 weeks and they are already becoming great friends.

I was only back at work for 5 months and work seemed to be fine. I was worried but try not to and I’m sure it will be fine. You won’t be the first person to have babies close together. The can’t really do and say anything otherwise it could seen as discrimination.

Thank you so much- I think I am just so worried and overthinking everything as this wasn’t planned

I am just worried about judgement from others and I know I shouldn’t be as it’s completely irrelevant.

Thank you, you’ve eased my mind massively!

I am due any day now with my second and will have a 14 and a half month age gap between the two. I was also worried about telling my employer but honestly it was all fine, they even offered if I wanted to take my accrued leave so that I don’t have to go back to work in between both maternity leaves.

I have had a mixed bag of reactions but honestly it’s no one’s business 🤨

Proud of myself

Finally letting go! Finally accepting that I’ll be a single mom and doing it without the father. Overtime I will learn to become comfortable with this more and more. I am finally going to walk away. I know I will be fine, I can do this. I just hope my next pregnancy be everything I’ve ever wanted but for right now I will just accept it and I can’t wait to meet my baby boy in 3 months!

Nursing pillow

Hello, 37 weeks here and starting to overthink everything I've prepared (or not) for the baby. We haven't got a nursing pillow yet, but I now wonder if it is something that we should consider buying? I'm planning to breastfeed and this is our first baby, so all still very abstract to us.
Do you have one? How are you finding it?

Support please 🩷

I’m not sure why exactly I’m posting this but I discovered last night that I’m pregnant, I think about 4 weeks. It wasn’t planned and I’m so scared of going through all the tough months again. šŸ˜” I can’t imagine how I will look after two together.

Bikini or no

I go on holiday next month. Feeling insecure and self conscious..
My postpartum body is different than before, I’ve gained a little weight and have lots of stretch marks on my tummy from pregnancy.

Can I still wear a bikini on vacay or is it one piece only now?! Will people judge?
