Bitting boy

I would bite him back but not to hurt him and tell him not to do it again

What have you done already to try and stop it?

I tell mine "no, we give kisses not bites". I try to be stern, but not mean about it. And then distract him with another activity or toys. Unfortunately it is a phase though and he should grow out of it.

My son had his bitting phase. We kept being constant that it's not ok. Remove him and be firm. He grew out of it. In the meantime it can be helpful to understand in which situation he is biting more. For my baby it was more when he was tired or overstimulated. That helped me to prevent the biting.
