Night time nappy leaking

What is everyone doing about changing baby through the night? My boy has started doing longer stretches of sleep (6-7 hours) before waking for his night feeds. Obviously I change him then but there have been a few leaking incidents. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I don't want to wake him to change him if he's sleeping.

Change of nappies helped with mine because I also didn’t want to disturb her sleep. Sainsbury’s Little One’s have been an absolute life saver for overnight use, and pretty much all day use now - no leaks at all!

I’m in the same boat and since I’ve not been changing his nappy in the middle of the night he has been sleeping so much better! I started using pampers for nighttime and works wonders, no more accidents! I keep using Lidl and other supermarkets brands for daytime but I found he was leaking with nearly all of them if used overnight!

We change our sons nappy obviously as he goes to bed and then don’t change till he wakes up in the morning as seems to wake him up so much more in the night now ( unless he poos but we have a very constipated baby so he’s never pooed in the night) and we don’t ever get leakages we just use the Fred and flo, tescos own brand ones and honestly have never have any leakages from them!

We sized up to pampers size 3 overnight and carry on using the size 2s in the day when we’re changing her more often
She is not far off needing size 3 at all times but I think the bigger size has helped with overnight dryness

We had this same issue. We found the only ones that worked for through the night were the pampers 12hr protection ones, we'd then use aldi in the day. I know most mum's I know I have found the same.

We use the + absorbency and also sized up vests / pyjamas to allow for the expansion. Also make sure he’s pointing down at that last change of the night x

Napper/Huckleberry

Hi all, do many people use Napper/Huckleberry? If so, do you feel it is actually beneficial?

Also, is it best to get the paid version?

Has anyone had any problems with neighbours after having a baby?

My neighbour is verbally abusive, (shouting, use of profanities, etc.), stomps and bangs consistently, has told us to move, peered through my windows. The list goes on. My landlords are aware, they've warned him, they've told each of us to ignore each other, but he has only grown more comfortable. Unfortunately things always happen so quickly and im not able to record anything. Am I just supposed to live with my phone glued to me constantly recording? I have things to do and a child to care for, nor do I have the means to invest in recording devices. My child wakes up crying because he is afraid to be in his bed, it is worse now because of teething. I genuinely do my best to keep the noise brief and get him right away, but I cannot control my child. I am exhausted, discouraged and it seems as though nothing will change. The landlords will not do anything because they have no physical proof of harassment. If you have any similar experiences or have needed to take this to court, how did it go? Is it even worth it? To be completely honest im starting to feel like maybe my child is the issue or im being a terrible parent despite everyone telling me its normal.

Feeding issues

Hi all!
My baby has been constantly crying , more so starts evening time, she’s inconsolable. I’m an over supplier and I’m not sure if she’s just getting top layer of my milk causing digestive issues. She also had tongue tie which was done 2 days ago (she’s 5 weeks)
I’m at a loss, I’m so unhappy with my breast feeding journey so far, ay one point I’m crying so much my husband looked at me like I need to be sectioned. It seems silly to stop feeding if I have plenty of milk but I feel like it’s causing a lot of issues for my baby, tongue tie didn’t help either

What do I do? Do I end my bf journey here for my sanity and fit her as she may not be getting the bottom layer of my milk
I’m just drowning her with my let downs and the watery bit of my milk

(I don’t want to pump before I feed every time to get rid of some, it’s exhausting enough)

Upset baby

My 4 week old will just not settle in the evenings. I assume it's colic? Hysterical crying after feeding, I wind him, keep him up right and he still uncontrollably cries, arches etc. I don't know how to help him it's impossible

To swaddle or not to swaddle

Hi all,
My baby is 10 weeks old on Saturday and is currently still being swaddled in her sleeping bag for naps and bedtime.
She’s actually a good sleeper and I think the swaddle seems to help. Once she is in swaddle she knows it’s sleep time.

I tried today without a sleeping bag as was hot and she just didn’t want to sleep.

When am I supposed to stop this?

Twice she has rolled on to her back from the tummy time position but it isn’t every time and she doesn’t role from front to back.

Any advice? Xx
