To swaddle or not to swaddle

Hi all,
My baby is 10 weeks old on Saturday and is currently still being swaddled in her sleeping bag for naps and bedtime.
She’s actually a good sleeper and I think the swaddle seems to help. Once she is in swaddle she knows it’s sleep time.

I tried today without a sleeping bag as was hot and she just didn’t want to sleep.

When am I supposed to stop this?

Twice she has rolled on to her back from the tummy time position but it isn’t every time and she doesn’t role from front to back.

Any advice? Xx

My baby is 11 w.o and I still swaddle because he sleeps so much better too. I have a breathing monitor just in case something happens (and also because every health professional scared me with SIDS while I was pregnant).
I’ve heard that you could start by removing just one arm for a few days and once they’re used to it removing the second arm

We use a sleep sack with her arms free! Just means if she did roll she’s got her arms available. That’s what the health visitor advised. For a night or two she was a bit unsettled as she kept startling herself! But from then on things started to pick up & now she sleeps beautifully! Hope that helps! ☺️

Unpopular opinion 👀

Baby sleep consultants have made an industry out of exhausted mums wanting a ‘fix’ to their babies sleep, even though there’s no such thing

Prams !!

Currently 22/40 with our first baby!! We plan on having 2 under 2, would it make sense to purchase a double stroller to avoid a secondary cost with the second bay?

How many words does your 15MO say?

This post is not to put anyone or their baby down especially if that baby is having difficulties I’m just curious how many words other children My daughter‘s age are saying because she surprises me. She’s been saying words since she was about 2 1/half months old it started with little words like go out dad mama and she’s already at the point where she’s repeating random words out of nowhere I didn’t think kids started doing that till they were a bit oldershe says far more than 25 words at this point I couldn’t even name them all and like I said every day she says something new she repeats words out of nowhere and I didn’t think a kid that young really started repeating repeating words, unless they’ve sat down and it’s been worked with saying that word but she’ll just say things out of nowhere. She’s already starting to try to put two words together and at her doctors appointment yesterday her doctor told me that that’s actually a skill for two-year-olds what do y’all think and how much is your 15 month old saying?

Sick note due to mental health

Hi everyone,
I am currently almost at the end of my 2nd months of fit note due to mental health, this is the first time going 2 months and above . Now i am thinking of getting a 3rd fit note due to the fact i feel i still not all that strong to resume work. My question now is, do gp give you a 3rd one which makes it 3 months of being off from work or it s not allowed?

Nappies abroad

I’m going to Benidorm in a month, I don’t know if I’m better off taking enough nappies with me, or do supermarkets usually have over there ?
Thank you
