Mopping wears me out, but I can’t stand dirty floors either. Thinking of getting a robot mop — any recommendations? What should I look for? Or is there a better option?

Ugh I feel like my floors are constantly dirty too 😭 I don’t have the energy to sweep, vacuum and mop as frequently as I would like…has anyone hired a cleaning service? What’s a fair price to pay?

We have a robot mop. Its ok but you do still need to mop the floor properly every now and then as it more wipes them than scrubs them so any sticky marks wont get cleaned

they are fine but sort of also a pain because they leave clean spot marks around like chair legs and corners, and you typically can’t have any rugs down when they’re running

Can you change your perspective?? Housework keeps me “fit”. So every time I’m mopping or mowing the lawns or washing/vacuuming my car or scrubbing bathrooms I’ve changed my perspective into “this is my exercise, my steps for the day, keep my arms moving will keep my flabby arms at bay” lol. Pump up some music bop to the beat and *try* to enjoy the mopping I say. I dunno that thinking has kept me pretty in shape till now 🤪 I mop the kitchen area daily coz that’s the area that gets most traffic/dirty.

We have a eufy and love it!! With a cat and toddler, it’s such a huge help!
It vacuums and mops downstairs everyday - makes such a difference!
As someone else mentioned you still need to go over it, I quickly steam mop once a month too
It’s our second robot we’ve had and love that this one can self empty and have a water tank at its base to clean its mops and refill. It also knows the difference between floor types so our rugs stay down - just need to be mindful of kids toys or books that the sensor might not see if they’re slim to the ground, so it doesn’t go round them!
