Episectomy stitches

When do you expect them to fall out or dissolve ? I’m 14 day pp and still can feel the stitches intact and itchy.

Partner snoring…

Does anyone else really struggle with their partners snoring when they are awake during night feeds?! My husband is such a bad snorer at the moment - not usually, but he’s gained a bit of weight with me during my pregnancy which he’s working hard to lose but the extra weight has made him a snorer. He is SO loud it is actually ridiculous. Snores on his back, side and front too so no relief! I know he can’t do anything about it but the rage I feel at 3/4am when I’m awake and he’s making that racket!!! Ashamed to say I’ve shoved him a fair few times during his sleep now telling him to shut up 🤣

Drinking whilst breastfeeding

Is it safe to have a glass of wine whilst breast feeding or not? Some people say it’s fine others say differently

I cannot lay him down

Any time I try to hand my son to someone or lay him down he screams and cries even when I give him to his father. It's usually okay if he can see me but the second I try to go out of the room to get something done he just screams inconsolably. Nothing is working. I need help

Night feeds

How does everyone cope with night feeds? My baby is 4 weeks old, and is formula / bottle fed. Generally wakes every 3 hours for his feed. Thank you!

Sleep changes @ 6 weeks

Has anyone else experienced changes in sleep at the 6 week development leap? We were getting some decent blocks of 2/3 hours sleep and calm wake ups but this has suddenly changed to hourly wake ups (or less!) with frantic/quick escalating cries once he’s woken. I don’t remember this change with my first at such an early age!

Going out on evenings

Hello,
Just wondering if everyone is sticking to dot with baby naps bedtime sleeping times?
So let’s say there is fun fair in town and you would like to go there late afternoon / evening but you must put baby to sleep at 7pm (for example). Would you just plan this day differently and take baby in the pram so baby will fall asleep and treat it like a nap or bed or whatever will happen?
How does it look like? FTM here and I’m literally all the time on schedule. Not leaving home on evenings AT ALL as always trying to stick to schedule and make sure baby goes to bedtime as always. And that also worries me because I wanted to go abroad in few months and I can’t really imagine it at the moment… just because of naps and bedtime etc . 🫠🫠🫠 am I overthinking all of this? What’s your thoughts?
