Failed IVF round and now significant issues with my thyroid function

Hey everyone,

Just after a chat, advice, anything really from anyone who has had issues with their thyroid after a failed IVF round. I'm still waiting 2 months later for endocrinology to get back to my GP and just wondered if anyone else has had similar issues. I'm not going to lie I am swerving talking to our fertility clinic right now 🙈 as I don't want them to no 🙈
I currently have 0 TSH, crazy high numbers of anti TPO, and T3 and T4 are spot on still. I've never had an issue with these numbers before this failed round and I am adamant they are linked (GP is not 🙄 Google agrees with me) anyone else had anything similar?

I'm so fatigued, my knees are swollen, it's so painful to walk, I honestly feel like a walking hot mess since our first round in December 🙈

Any advice or anything will be openly welcomed ❤️

They are linked. IVF hormones can impact thyroid function, and impaired thyroid function can lead to fertility issues . It’s a cycle that needs to be broken .
I would discuss with the fertility clinic to resolve this and optimise your chances of success . All the best

Positive or not help

my last period was 5 days long then I came off for 5 days and came back on for 3 days ( was light bleed ) I’m now 8 days late and have had cramps coming up to about 2 weeks in a row along with back pain and dizziness here and there. I have done 3 strip tests which I feel like I can see faint lines but the digital says not pregnant. I’m not sure if these are faint positives or evap lines 😫

Long cycles ttc

Hi I have very irregular and long cycles and I’m so pissed off not getting a peak, CD21 I thought it’s finally approaching but it wasn’t and same with CD24 I was so hopeful to see progress for today’s test but again it’s gone down a lot 😭

I always hold wee 2-3 hours limited drinks not because of that xx
I don’t know what I’m seeking for with this post, maybe just if anyone has very long cycles and they still succesfully ovulate later and even better if they succeeded to conceive x

Husbands reaction to finding out im pregnant

My husband and I have been trying for our second child for 5 months now and yesterday I finally got a positive pregnancy test. I waited until today to tell him as I was in a rush to get to work yesterday. I asked him to pick a hand and had the test behind my back. He did this uncomfortable half smile and commented ew why would you give me a stick of your wee? Like maybe it was a joke but cmon?! Then he commented how i should just test again in a few days as it may be negative next time. Im quite put off by his reaction as I hoped he would atleast smile instead of trying to minimise it. Is that normal?
