Why won’t my LO nap in her bed during the day? What can I do to help? It’s really starting to frustrate me! My eldest was such a good sleeper but am still waking in the night at nearly 7 months and I don’t know how much longer I can go on.

Is your little one actually tired when they are put down? Not sure whether it’s a coincidence or not but since I’ve not paid attention to “wake windows” and waited more to see when my baby is tired they are sleeping better. Doesn’t nap very much probably averages about 2-2.5 hours in the day but we’ve had 5 hour stretches which we’ve not had since they were a newborn. I’ve just accepted they are a low sleep needs baby and won’t nap much In the day and to not expect 13 hours over night either. They are much happier in themselves too
yes I put them down when they’re falling asleep on me after a long wake window but will be wide awake as soon as she’s led down. I get so stressed when she’s screaming, trying to sleep but can’t as my older daughter is jumping and singing 😢

My son and current little one just won't sleep in their cot in the day, some babies don't.
My son didn't sleep at night either but my lil girl goes in at night happy and awake and so I take that as a blessing!
I put her down sleepy in my bed yesterday needing the toilet urgently and she nodded off so thinking I might do bed guards and do it that way.
Whatever works mumma!
