My husband says he’d like to be able to have a lie-in in the mornings, and it’s starting to annoy me.
I’m a SAHM and I’m always the one up at 7:00am with our 18-month-old. Every single day, I get her out of the cot while he stays in bed until around 8:00–8:30 (he works from home most days).
He doesn’t start work until 9:00, so it’s not like he has to rush out the door. During the day he’ll take her out for an hour or two on his breaks, but aside from that, it’s all me—feeding her, cooking, putting her down for a nap, everything.
Am I being unreasonable for feeling annoyed about this? How do you guys usually split mornings like this?

Lay in? What’s that again?🤣🤣🤣 no I never lay in BUT if I say to him you’re getting up in the morning then he will but it’s very very very rare. My body clock is just up at 6 regardless if either of my kids have woken up before or after that, so although I’m sure it would be nice once in a while I would just be laying there awake anyway😂 but our situations do also vary on the fact that my other half is up at 5-6 every morning sometimes including Saturdays for work so I don’t really feel a type of way about letting him be the one to lay in on a Sunday

I get Sundays to stay in bed and do a meditation or sleep a little more while he takes our little one to the living room.
Maybe you can make an agreement like that where you get a weekend day to rest in the morning
