I’m exactly the same! I avoid all the mirrors and just try to wear things I know already fit to avoid further disappointment in myself. Your not alone lovely xx

It's so horrible! I might have to do that, I've got ready today to go to my mother in laws but then as soon as I am at the point of getting dressed, and I've been looking in the mirror putting my make up on I feel so bad 😂 so I may need to do the same thing and just avoid mirrors completely! It's nice to know I am not alone though,it's so tough!!

How is everyone?

Now that all the March babies have been born, I just wondered how everyone was doing?
Me personally, I have good days and bad days but I would say overall mostly good! 8 weeks pp, csection, all healed well and my boy is changing everyday!
I think the hardest thing for me is accepting my new body shape. Ive ordered some clothes that I hope help me bring a bit of confidence back

BMI question

I'm currently 12 weeks into my very first pregnancy and had my initial midwife appointment a few weeks ago. The 'consultant' told me that my BMI was slightly over 30 so there were additional things I needed to do such a weight management course so that I dont put on loads of weight - which has really scared me.
Just wondered if theres anyone else who's been through this and if baby was born ok?

Postpartum preeclampsia

Pls take me off the ledge. I’m 8 days postpartum I’ve had a headache in my left eyebrow for two days. Today I woke up and it seemed like it finally had gone but now it’s creeping up on my right eyebrow. Meanwhile I’ve been taking my blood pressure and getting readings around 120/90 when usually I’m well below the 120/80 (dia sometimes 87, 88, 90, 92). I’ve talked to my doctor (after getting the 92 reading) and they’ve said to call again if anything went above 140/90 again. It keeps sitting around that 90 number and I’m anxious this could be postpartum preeclampsia? What were your symptoms if you’ve had it, should my bp be extremely high? It’s the persistent headache that is making me worry a lot and it’s not normal for me to have elevated bp readings.
