What is something you found out way later than you should have that no one bothered to teach you?
First, I didn’t know you were supposed to get full maintenance on your car every so often. I have owned a car for seven years now, and I’ve never had a full maintenance work over just normal oil changes and tire check. My dad was a literal mechanic and apparently did not think this was necessary information to pass along. We only found out when my sister’s car warranty, that should have been intact, was not because she didnt follow the “recommended maintenance schedule”.
Now just yesterday, I learned that you shouldn’t do too much laundry back to back if you have a septic tank. Apparently it could over run the system. I’ve lived here for like 16 years and this washing machine is almost always going 🤯
Help me understand my frustration 🤣
Why is it when we ask men to do something (granted, not all men) they often tend to say they're 'coming' or they'll do it in a minute or something, and this just seems to piss me off 🤣 like, I'm not your mum to be asking you to do something right away, but still it annoys me that you can't just do the thing I asked, when I asked, so we can move on with life 🤣
Is it just me?
What’s your personal opinion on public school/private/homeschool
I’ve been seeing lots of people post about how the education system is built to make factory workers, etc. Honestly, I feel like I learned nothing from public school, I found out when I was 17. I have a learning disability, like dyslexia, but my mom never told me about it so that I wouldn’t feel like I was different.😅 but instead, I was treated like I was dumb throughout high school.
Regardless, I’ve been thinking about private school for my little one but the cost is so insanely high. What are other moms thinking about this?
The public school near us has a 17% grade average for kids being on track. I don’t wanna put my kid into a school where he’s going to learn nothing.
