First, I didn’t know you were supposed to get full maintenance on your car every so often. I have owned a car for seven years now, and I’ve never had a full maintenance work over just normal oil changes and tire check. My dad was a literal mechanic and apparently did not think this was necessary information to pass along. We only found out when my sister’s car warranty, that should have been intact, was not because she didnt follow the “recommended maintenance schedule”.
Now just yesterday, I learned that you shouldn’t do too much laundry back to back if you have a septic tank. Apparently it could over run the system. I’ve lived here for like 16 years and this washing machine is almost always going 🤯

Also still don’t know how to pump gas I always make my husband or mom do it lol

Near enough everything my mum was abusive 🤞

My mom never bothered to teach me basic skin care. 🥺 Idk if it falls under something she should’ve but felt like it.
Also, that I’m not suppose to put grease down a sink. I never cared in my rented apartments tbh and my mom didn’t either, but when we bought our house. My husband was like WTF ARE YOU DOING😂

That you pay less interest on a loan if you set the payments to weekly rather than biweekly or monthly

How to take care of my hair properly. And basically everything else. I leaned most of my stuff by watching then the other stuff by trial and error. My parents were alcoholics and abusive so almost every relationship i went into had some type of abuse. Until recently
