Would you have another baby after haemorrhaging during your last C section and your waters breaking at 30 weeks?

I have always wanted 3 children and am lucky enough to have 2. However during my last pregnancy my waters broke at 30’weeks, with me giving birth at 35 weeks via c section after some heavy bleeding. I also bled a lot during my C section as this was my second C section and almost had to have a blood transfusion.

I think this is more a question for your doctor/ a medical professional x

It depends whether a medical professional says its safe to have another. However speaking from experience with having a traumatic second birth and going on to have a third. No birth is the same. My second came at 34 weeks, spontaneous premature labour at home, he had shoulder dystocia and wasn't breathing and needed to be resusitated. He spend a long while in nicu with it being touch and go for a while. I just gave birth to my third 2 weeks ago and it was the easiest birth going, only 4 hours and no tearing

I would wait a few years minimum to make sure my body has recovered and then I would seek obstetrician advice. Only they can assess you, know your medical needs and your individual risks.

If you want 3, why don't you see an obstetrician to assess any risks?

Every single pregnancy carries unforseen risks and no one will be able to guarantee this one will be fine.

But if you really want 3 maybe you just need to work with a therapist to deal with your previous traumatic birth experiences.

My little one has arrived 💕

My little May bundle of joy arrived yesterday safely via emergency section (was a planned section but ended up going into labour the night before).
She shares a birthday with her big brother who turned 19 yesterday 💙

Our hearts are full of love and we can’t wait to take her home later.

Bumpdate!

How are all our bumps doing??

I’m 35+2 and feeling huge now! Definitely a lot bigger this pregnancy in comparison to my first, I was about this size at 41 weeks with my son lol.

Feeling very heavy 🙈 we’re almost there!

Baby number 2 name help!

My sons name is Isaiah, his dad chose his name as it was a name he wanted for his son since he was a child and agreed I could chose our second child’s name. I’m now pregnant with our second son and I only like two names Azariah and Amari. But Azariah is my main choice and a name I liked since I was pregnant with my son. I like that it’s a biblical name like Isaiah and sounds good together. My son’s dad thinks it sounds too girly. My point is that it’s a male name used throughout the bible and now it’s unisex but slightly more common for boys. Am I bugging? I feel like it’s such a good boys name but don’t want him to be made fun of for having a name that’s too girly if I’m not being realistic?

Labor Induction

FTM and i’m officially 41 weeks, I had my appointment today and they scheduled me for induction next week (totally understandable) Does anyone have anything that helped them go into labor naturally? I’ve been pumping, walking, bouncing, seems like everything and nothing is helping. I can’t help but feel defeated. I really wanted to avoid being induced :/

Birthday with a baby

Husband's birthday is coming up. How do you celebrate with a 5 month old? Our usual thing would be an experience. Theatre, nice restaurant etc. I am so shattered. Want him to have something really good since he has been a great support with pregnancy and baby life. Any ideas?
