Is this my body preparing or early labour?

I’ve been having what feels like cramps from Sunday, they have continued throughout the day and are worse at night but they are very spaced out. I woke up with cramps today but not so bad I couldn’t carry on with the day.

Yesterday I had a lot of pressure and lightning crotch even though baby isn’t sitting low yet.

I’m 36+5 and as I’m having dates, raspberry leaf tea and trying to collect colostrum each day I’m wondering if this is early signs of labour or my body just prepping. What has everyone else’s experiences been like?

I know it's different for everyone but I only had a lower back ache the night before I went into labour last time (at 39 weeks) and when the contractions started in the early hours the next morning it was unmistakable as it was a lot more intense than cramps and regular. I also started losing my mucus plug at the same time.
My midwife told me not to collect colostrum before 37 weeks as it could stimulate the uterus and bring on preterm labour - not to scare you sorry, but it could just be your body getting ready and brought on by the steps you've been taking.
I'm by no means an expert but call the hospital if you're at all worried ❤️

I am 38+5 and have also started having cramps throughout the day and but worse at night with back pain.
I have pressure on my lower belly and I think it is because the belly dropped. Midwife said baby seems to be head down .
I don't know if I am in early labour, I suppose not , as I heard the pain should be more intense 🤷🏻‍♀️
I hope you are ok xx

My little one has arrived 💕

My little May bundle of joy arrived yesterday safely via emergency section (was a planned section but ended up going into labour the night before).
She shares a birthday with her big brother who turned 19 yesterday 💙

Our hearts are full of love and we can’t wait to take her home later.

Labor Induction

FTM and i’m officially 41 weeks, I had my appointment today and they scheduled me for induction next week (totally understandable) Does anyone have anything that helped them go into labor naturally? I’ve been pumping, walking, bouncing, seems like everything and nothing is helping. I can’t help but feel defeated. I really wanted to avoid being induced :/

Birthday with a baby

Husband's birthday is coming up. How do you celebrate with a 5 month old? Our usual thing would be an experience. Theatre, nice restaurant etc. I am so shattered. Want him to have something really good since he has been a great support with pregnancy and baby life. Any ideas?

Advice

Im nearly 20 weeks and I keep getting awful pains in my lower belly and back (similar to period pains) and sharp stabbing pains in my right side, my belly goes like a rock when this happens and is lasting around 10 minutes each time. Does anyone know what can help ease this and what it could be please? Iv tried lying down but it seems to help worse when I do.

Inducing Labor Naturally

What are some ways you induced your labor naturally/ quick? My first came at 40 weeks, my second came at 37 weeks, and now i’m 39 weeks with my 3rd 😅 my doctor gave me the go to try and induce labor at home since my cervix seems to be at a stand still at 1.5 cm.
i’ve done a lot of labor exercises, including the yoga ball.
