Are stepping stones good for a 1 year old?

Looking at stepping stones for my soon to be one year old, it suggests two and up but I think she could enjoy using them. Like this https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/pre-school-and-electronic-learning/play-factory/play-factory-mountain-stepping-stones-5-pack/p/255342
Any advice from those who do have similar?

Got these for Christmas for my LB who was just past 1 at the time, oh my gosh he’s obsessed and still uses them regularly.

Also worked out tho he can stack them in places to reach onto the counter tops, kitchen table etc better to run off with whatever trinket he’s found

We’ve had ours since my daughter was 13 months (she was walking by 10 months) and she loves them! Still uses them now at 2yrs old and her balance is amazing x

A great little bit of advice that I learnt... If you're buying age appropriate, it's too late for their development. Some toys are aged due to choking hazards but things like that are great to get before the age to push their development xx

Side sleeping

I woke up this morning and my 11 week old was on his side!
1. I didn’t know he could do this!?
2. I panicked and put him back on his back but he rolled back over!
3. I put his dummy in because I panicked and when I rolled him back he rolled again!
Is this okay? Do I need to keep him on his back?
He seemed very content and I don’t know how to police back sleeping whilst also getting sleep myself, and I’m terrified of sids 😩

Carseat Recommendations

We're in the process of buying a second car. I have a 5 month old baby. We want to buy a carseat for the new car, but not sure what to go for. We plan to have a second baby at some point in the next year or two, hence don't mind paying out for another carseat. At the moment I have an avionaut pixel pro 2.0, which my baby can use until he's about 12-15 months. I don't really want to buy another newborn carseat as it seems a waste of money. I want one that reclines as we do a lot of long journeys (my commute to work is 1 hr and on the days I work, he will be coming with me as my parents live 5mins away). Any recommendations would be great! Thank you :)

4skin

I had my 8 week check for my newborn recently and the doctor told me I should be gently pulling his foreskin back so that it doesn’t get too tight. I haven’t been given this advice before so I haven’t been doing it for my two-year-old.

My two-year-old’s foreskin doesn’t go back over the head of his penis, It’s too tight. Is this normal? Is it because I haven’t been pulling it back regularly?

Sorry about the title, apparently I’m not allowed to say foreskin in it?

Should they be banned for life and would you as a parent press charges?

This teacher slapped a primary school student and left a red mark, however she tried to say in her statement that it was an "involuntary arm movement" 😑 I call bullshit... How can you "accidentally" have your arm outstretched, "accidentally" have an open hand and "accidentally" come into contact with a child's cheek enough to leave a red mark? But in the same interview she states that "a challenging classroom situation contributed to the incident". I'm sorry but if teaching brings you to the point of assault then you shouldn't be a teacher 🤷🏼‍♀️ so my questions are:
Should it be a lifetime ban? And would you press charges as the parent?

Back to back

Currently in active labour with a back to back baby and if I'm honest it hurts so much more than it would do if baby was the opposite 😭 every contraction makes me feel so sick
