Sensory Overload

Hi everyone! I work in a busy and noisy office and for the last few weeks I've worked 2 days and then been off sick for the rest of the week because my nervous system is completely shot. I can feel the cortisol running around my body to the point where it's exacerbated aches and pains as well and made my fatigue three times as bad. I don't get sick pay and I have spoken to work about this and had an occupational health review but I've been too ill to review it over the last 2 days so I will look at the weekend. I know that pregnancy is supposed to make sensory issues even worse than normal. I just wondered if anybody else had this problem and any ideas most welcome as my working environment - not the work itself - is causing a lot of stress on my system which is worrying me. They don't want people to work from home. I've got so much anxiety about even going in on Monday because of this and I've noticed I've even been getting overloaded in Tesco. I am neurodivergent as well . Thank you!

In my risk assessment at work for both pregnancies. It was specified i needed a quiet space i could go to to take rest breaks as and when needed. Have you been offered this? I would also suggest earplugs, maybe normal earplugs if you just want to muffle all noise or something like loop ear plugs to reduce background noise?

Birth Plan

hiya all!! i’ve not long moved to a new area and am having to go through all the re blood testing and went without seeing a midwife for 10+ weeks!! im currently nearly 32w and i had a phone call from my midwife the other day, im unable to meet her until after the 26th may😔
i obviously haven’t come up with a birth plan yet as i assumed my midwife would help me with that but i am a little worried. i’m worrried as my EDD keeps changing from the 5th July to 19th June and no one knows which ones right, the dates are creeping closer and closer and panic mode is setting in.
my question is, do i draft a birth plan by myself? i’m a FTM so have no idea what im doing😅😅 TIA xx

Induced or elective section

I had my 25 week midwife appointment yesterday and come out with the confirmation I will be having my baby at 37 weeks due to complications within pregnancy. They have given me the choice of which route to take but I honestly have no idea. My midwife informed me that an induction might be really rough on me as first pregnancy and cervix probably won’t play ball. Can I hear people’s positive stories about both?!

First period

Hello guys. I’m currently 3 months postpartum and have been exclusively breastfeeding. Yesterday my period has came back (I was not happy lol) however it’s so heavy I have never had a period this heavy before. Although I feel absolutely fine with no cramps or anything did anyone else experience this? I did have a vaginal birth with no concerns and I did have my copper coil put back in around 3 weeks ago. Thanks for any advice 💕
