Can anyone relate?
I won’t let anyone look after my son because I’m absolutely terrified of button batteries and I’m scared he’ll play with someone with one in.
My partners parents want to always look after my son but I can’t let him due to my anxiety and I know they’ll think I’m ridiculous if I ask about button batteries they already make comments about

I don't think they will think you are crazy if you ask if they have any toys with button batteries....
Unrelated but if you feel your anxiety is impacting your daily life, you should talk to your doctor. I found both meds and therapy to be really helpful.
