Period pains?

I’m 20+1 and I keep getting random bouts of period pain

I don’t know whether baby is just laying on my cervix or not but I’m terrified if they are, it’s going to stimulate early labour 😂🫣
Has anyone else experienced this?

Could it be Braxton Hicks? I have had hard tummy at times and then followed by period like pains and I rang midwife who thought it was Braxton hicks. She said to me if I start bleeding to call them again or if the pain is so bad I have to take paracetamol AND it doesn’t help to call back. If you are worried though worth a call. (I’m 21+1) and these started over the last couple of weeks for me so as a similar time to you x

Im 20+3 and have had this for a couple of days. Mentioned it to Midwife friend and she said its because baby is getting bigger now and uterus is stretching and growing which can feel the same cramping as when it contracts
This is my 4th baby and I do remember having this around this time with the others too. Baby is jumping about happily and scan was perfect Wednesday so im not concerned at the moment. As above any bleeding though contact the midwife.

She's here! - 8th May

she arrived via emergency c-section after what can only be described as a very traumatic induction at 40 weeks due to GDM and Polyhydramnios but on the 8th May at 40+1, not sure what time as I was out of it but weighing 8lb 1oz not the 9lb 7oz the consultants had been predicting, taken to breast feeding like a champ and is just the picture of perfectness and I am just so in love 🥰🥰🥰

Am I crazy?

Okay, so my husband’s ex’s name is the same as a month. Hoping this makes sense but am I totally crazy for not wanting to have our child born in that same month as her name?

(Context - he has 2 kids with her so she’s very much relevant in our lives)

Elective C section

Hi all ☺️ I am a FTM to a little girl with due date 27th May. Just signed off on an elective c section on non medical grounds (anxiety). Wondering if anyone else is going for the same option as it doesnt seem to get talked about much and it would be interesting to hear from others about why they chose c section. Thanks

Pelvic Prolapse

Hi all, has anyone had a prolapse before? Either uterus or bladder?

I’m 6 months postpartum, do my pelvic floor exercises and have deep infiltrating endometriosis involvement on my bowel. But tonight I stood up and felt something heavy drop downwards. My partner has had a look and I’ve got what I can only describe as a massive/soft lump now covering the opening of my vag*na. It’s there when I’m stood up and lying down. I’ve got a heaviness down there as well which I didn’t have before.

Has anyone else had this? Any tips to help sort it? I cannot afford pelvic floor therapy as I am on maternity leave and get paid less than minimum wage with a house and 2 kids to pay for!

Thanks in advance

Probably been asked many times before!

FTM and opting for an elective C-Section. 34 weeks at the moment and feeling woefully uninformed about the whole process. We have a consultant appointment next week but does anyone have any pre and post op advice or tips I should know?
