Waking at 5am every day

Anyone else’s 8 month old waking up at 5am every single day? No matter what time he goes to sleep he wakes up at 5am. He usually goes to sleep at 7pm ish after been awake for 2.5-3 hours and then he usually sleeps through until 5.
Last night he went to sleep at 7 after been awake 3 hours, woke up at 10:30pm and then 3:40am and then 5 so even though he was awake in the night he still woke at 5😩
I don’t know how to get him to sleep longer than 5am!

Yep we’re exactly the same! Then she’s so tired her first nap is really long. Chat GPT tells me she’s getting too much day time sleep and needs a 4 hour wake window before bed🤣xx

This is us, he doesn’t get too much day time sleep and has a 4 hr stretch before bed and still wakes at that time regardless of how early/late we put him down

Thats a very short wake window for an 8 month old. Id stretch it and put him down at 730. Also how long are naps?

Yep!!! 🥱🥱🥱🥱 so glad to hear that others are as I thought this was going to be forever!!!! I’m hoping it’s a phase! 🙏🙏🙏 xxxx

Her first nap can be 2 hours and then an hour for her second but I think the first one is just too long for her. They’re also going through a lot developmentally at the moment so it could also just be a regression but I’m hoping it goes back to normal soon xx

Anyone notice how Huggies changed ?!

This is the worst thing ever! I’ve been using these for years! First with my son and now with my daughter. First they removed the Velcro tabs which was fine whatever, but now they made them so thin and “soft”, my daughter blows out every single time she poops! I’m SO sad and disappointed, I really don’t know what diapers to used now that are like the original Huggies! (New on left, old on right). I HATE them 😭😭😭

Sleeping all day @ 9 weeks

Hi there - anyone noticed their 9 weeks LO extra extra sleepy all morning and afternoon? He wakes up just to eat and sleeps right after. Sometimes he’ll play for 10-15 mins and is alert and happy then. He also had 1 dry diaper for a 6 hour stretch. Otherwise full wet diapers and stool in the past 48 hours

Do you keep the monitor on throughout the night when baby moves into their own room?

We're getting prepared to put baby in her own room, and feeling really sad about it! She is 6.5 months.

Her room is next to ours, but we're going to have to shut her door to prevent the light getting in. We wondered whether we should leave the monitor on overnight to make sure we hear her, or does that sound a bit ridiculous? The thought of her having to resort to crying to get our attention makes me feel really sad (again, probably being ridiculous!)

How have other people gotten on?

To go private or will it eventually stop?

My 14 month old has and still does excessively dribble. I’m talking very excessive. We go through multiple bibs and change of clothes - 24/7 not just when teething. I believe there has to be an underlying cause but the doctors are useless. I’ve enquired about going private but due to it of course being very expensive, I’m debating whether it is likely to be resultant or something or will he eventually stop (soon)? Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar experience with either outcome. Thanks in advance!

Bad words (2 year old)

My daughter this morning decided to find cat puke and put it on my face 🙃😂. My reaction was to say "what the f*ck?!". I was still asleep and woke up to something wet on my face.Well now she keeps saying "f*ck". How do I quickly get her to forget that word even exists? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Normal Development or Red Flag?

Hi everyone!

FTM here, please dont judge. My daughter is 9months and 2 weeks and there is some stuff that she does that im starting to think may be a red flag? Did you experience this with your 9m old? Am i just being super paranoid?

Here is what she does-
-super fast crawler
-great at standing and cruising
-responds to name 98% of time
-showing signs of understanding "no"

Red flags?
-makes great eye contact but not a fan of super up close contact (when being held, etc.)
-babbles only sometimes but mostly only vavava, baba sometimes she would throw mama
-recently started doing this repetitive head noding/rocking (back and forth) when standing or sitting..some days she doesnt sometimes she does it few time ina row
-Smiles at us and at people once comfortable but it takes her time, very serious baby
-was a great sleeper but recently started waking up multiple times a night
