Going outside after section

When is the right time to go for a walk after c section? I know everyone’s different but would be good to get other peoples opinions! I’m 5 days post cs today and would like to go for a small walk but I’m scared that’s a silly idea.

If you feel up for it, go for it. Pretty sure I went for a short work on day 4 or 5. Just take it very easy!

I’m day 6 post c section today, I went out for a little walk yesterday. It was lovely to get out and get some fresh air.
I would suggest only go for a little one, it felt great being out, but I did feel sore after.
If you’re going by yourself, let someone know where you’re going or have your phone on you to call someone if you end up struggling and need picking up. Take it at your own pace and enjoy! ⭐️

C section with toddler

I am booked in for my planned c section in 3 days and I’m starting to get scared 🙈 I also have a toddler who will be 2 next month. I have an amazing partner too. I just know how much pain I was in last time & im starting to freak out the closer it’s getting. I had a c section last time so I know what to expect but I also didn’t have a toddler last time 🙈 I feel sad that I might not be able to pick him up for a while & properly play with him 😭 I don’t want my toddler to think I’m a bad Mumma 😭❤️ anyone able to offer any reassurance would mean a lot ❤️

Ultrasound at 40 weeks

I have been booked a growth scan at 40+1 weeks. I’m 39+3 today so obviously if I go into labour before then it’s cancelled. Just wondering if anyone else has had a scan to see if they need to get induced or anything.

I feel overwhelmed trying to do it all as a mom

The past two months were really hard for me. I was waking up extremely early to take my daughter to my sister so she could watch my daughter, then heading straight to work. On top of that, some nights my daughter would wake up in the middle of the night and wouldn’t go back to sleep until around 5am.
I was trying to push through it all, but I ended up getting overwhelmed and had to leave my job. Now I’m back struggling again and honestly just trying to figure things out.
For moms who’ve been through this—how did you make it work or what helped you get through those seasons?

Period at 1M postpartum?

I’m 6 weeks postpartum from my C. I started having some bleeding on Thursday and it’s gotten heavier since then. Also having blood clots. Dr said it’s just my period coming early. I’m exclusively breastfeeding. Anyone else experience this?
