What do you think of the name Corey/Cory?

We fell in love with the name Corey to go with big brother Brodie, but have just found out that Corey is slang for penis 🙈. I don’t want to set him up to be bullied and kind of feel like kids will find a reason to nickname someone if they want to anyway? Would you name your child Corey?

I’ve never heard that. I have come across a Cory too. Kayce is also nice with Brodie

Im not a fan of the name (dont let that dissuade you though my opinion doesnt matter) but I will say I had no idea it was slang for penis if that helps and I cant imagine kids knowing that unless its specific to your area.

I cant say much there though as I wanted to name my daughter pippa but found out in Greece its slang for blowjob so we changed the name 😅🙈

I don’t think that’s a mainstream term or is this a new thing 😭

I've never heard that as a slang word but have actually met a few Corey's I don't think there's anything wrong with it

I have seen it spelt Khoury if that helps at all

I must be old because “feel my corey” was the first thing I thought of, sorry 🫣
I grew up 80/90’s, so maybe kids these days will never know… 🤷🏻‍♀️

C section with toddler

I am booked in for my planned c section in 3 days and I’m starting to get scared 🙈 I also have a toddler who will be 2 next month. I have an amazing partner too. I just know how much pain I was in last time & im starting to freak out the closer it’s getting. I had a c section last time so I know what to expect but I also didn’t have a toddler last time 🙈 I feel sad that I might not be able to pick him up for a while & properly play with him 😭 I don’t want my toddler to think I’m a bad Mumma 😭❤️ anyone able to offer any reassurance would mean a lot ❤️

90th centile to 5th centile

I had the fundal height checked at 26 weeks and baby was measuring on the 90th centile, had an appt yesterday and he was measured at the 5th centile, so no growth at all in the last three weeks. i’ve been referred for a growth scan but have an upcoming scan in a few weeks anyway, has this happened to anyone else? My last baby was over 8lbs, and i feel like im getting bigger, movements are getting stronger etc, im just panicking as they said they placenta may not be working properly!!!

C-section recovery

Anyone else had a c-section and around day 10 had severe pain in pelvis and feel like they’re going to split in two? I’ve been in a bit of discomfort over the past few days but this is intense and I’m struggling to move
