I loved my c section, mine was an emergency but everything still felt so calm. The staff talked me through everything and was over quickly. Only thing I would say is I wish I didn’t rush my recovery, I did way too much after the surgery, take it easy after ☺️ x

My first was an emergency c-section, I’ve opted for an elective c section with this pregnancy. I can honestly say I’m looking forward to it, from what’s been described to me it sounds much more calmer and controlled. It’s also nice knowing exactly when your baby will be here 🤍

Just ensure you don’t do too much after you’ve had baby. The only thing I struggled with afterwards was getting up during the night to deal with baby, as that requires you using your abdominal muscles… but the struggle didn’t last long for me.

A c-section has recently been mentioned to me as baby girl is no longer head down, I’m 35 weeks. A couple of my friends have had c-sections and they say that it isn’t as bad as you think, they’ve reassured me and I feel better about it. ❤️

I had an elective in 2021 as my daughter was breech. Most amazing experience of my life❤️ everything was perfect and I’d do it over and over again! There’s plenty of staff in the room to help if anything did go wrong so you definitely don’t need to worry about that! It was honestly amazing I hope you have the same experience 🥰xx

Girl watch one born every minute, if you haven’t already I’ve found it to be quite good at preparing for what to expect 🥰✨

I have had planned c-section 7 years ago and everything went well to be honest 🫶🏼 and scar healed neatly and I am not gonna lie it is a bit tender but it’s nothing you can’t handle
When you see your little one its all worth while 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
You got this 💪🏼🫶🏼🌍🌏🌎

I’m having an elective one after a horrible emergency one last time and honestly all I’ve heard about elective sections is soooo positive! I was speaking to someone in the salon who is having their third one soon and she said it was an amazing experience every time 🫶🏻

C section with toddler

I am booked in for my planned c section in 3 days and I’m starting to get scared 🙈 I also have a toddler who will be 2 next month. I have an amazing partner too. I just know how much pain I was in last time & im starting to freak out the closer it’s getting. I had a c section last time so I know what to expect but I also didn’t have a toddler last time 🙈 I feel sad that I might not be able to pick him up for a while & properly play with him 😭 I don’t want my toddler to think I’m a bad Mumma 😭❤️ anyone able to offer any reassurance would mean a lot ❤️

90th centile to 5th centile

I had the fundal height checked at 26 weeks and baby was measuring on the 90th centile, had an appt yesterday and he was measured at the 5th centile, so no growth at all in the last three weeks. i’ve been referred for a growth scan but have an upcoming scan in a few weeks anyway, has this happened to anyone else? My last baby was over 8lbs, and i feel like im getting bigger, movements are getting stronger etc, im just panicking as they said they placenta may not be working properly!!!

C-Sections

I am 10 weeks PP, I was seen at 6 weeks and told to been seen in a year.
Only thing is sometimes I feel this tingly feeling (not sure how to explain it) it’s not painful but uncomfy. Planning to call Monday, but has any mamas have similar things happening at the incision?
