Hey girlies! I have an 8-month-old and I’ve started thinking about when to have another baby lol. I don’t want the age gap to be too big, but I also don’t want to be pregnant while my baby still needs me 24/7, if that makes sense.

To be fair, she’s a really good baby — she sleeps well and is generally quite easygoing.

Any advice on how long you waited between babies, or how long you think is ideal? 💕

My first was like this as a baby. He's been a wild toddler and wants me even more 🙃 we have a 2y 8m gap so had nearly 2 year break between pregnancies which was good. Glad it wasn't any smaller as being pregnant with a toddler is an endurance sport.

My first was coming up 4 when I had my second and I feel like shes able to entertain herself whilst I do what her little sister needs without needing me too much, she also started council nursery just after her sister was born so she gets lots of play time and it gives me time to bond with her sister too

Pregnancy with a toddler is a 1 out of 10 experience I won’t lie but everybody experiences pregnancy differently! Also my son is more needy now than he was as a baby - typical! 😬🙄

There’s 22 months between mine. I had a rough 2nd pregnancy which was not fun having a toddler who was under 2. The first few weeks were hard whilst we found our feet but now I absolutely love it and wouldn’t change it for the world! I do think it depends on temperament of children too as both my girls are quite chilled and independent. I also go out nearly everyday and have done since my 7 month old was a few weeks old which keeps my sanity! My eldest goes to nursery 2 days per week which means I get some 121 time with the baby too and time to catch up on house jobs etc. (having 1 when you have 2 feels like 0 🤣)
My 2 year old loves her baby sister and I can’t wait to watch them grow up together x
