Sharing ❤️

Just wanted to come here and share some of my girls achievements because I don't have anyone else to talk about it with lol

List of achievements my Ellie has hit from 3 months to 6 that made me really excited ☺️
1. Sitting with no assistance for several minutes.
2. Crawling.
3. drinking out of her own bottle.
4. Playing with her siblings.
5. Giggles.😫
6. Eating everything in sight (baby food and milk) 🤣
7. Saying mama and dada
8. Growing so big 😭

Can't believe she is our last and is already 6 months 😭

I wish I had more people to share with🥲

Contractions

So I’m pretty sure I’m in early labour 😅 I’m getting contractions every 3 mins lasting 1 min each which is the requirement to go into hospital but the contractions aren’t all that painful i can still think and talk ect through them so idk what to do, i live an hour from hospital and my active labour with my son only lasted 1h so what are we thinking should i go down or not bother? x

First midwife appointment

Hi , I’ve got my first midwife appointment on Friday and I was wondering what to expect or what they do. All I’ve been told is that it’s just a health thing and they take bloods and it can take up to hours .

Concerned mumma here

I’m 26+5 and last night I was getting a lot of tightness I didn’t expect much of it as I thought it was normal but all day today I’ve felt a lot of tightness/pain and pressure as well as vomiting as well as feeling dizzy and nauseous and a little bit like shaky, is this normal?

Anal fissures - TMI

Sorry this is a bit TMI, I’m 6 weeks PP (vaginal delivery with episiotomy). I have had 2 occasions since giving birth where I have had a poo and felt some pain and had a small amount of red blood on the tissue when wiping. Bit graphic but I have looked in the mirror and on both occasions appear to have a small kind of paper cut on my bum hole area, it’s a little bit painful for a couple of hours but then passes and no problems the next time I have needed to go to the loo. I wondered if anyone else has had similar pp?

He is here 🥹🩵

30 hours of labour turned into a csection in the end, but it was still the most beautiful moment when we finally met our little guy.

He came at 54cm and 3880g, healthy and happy, so everything we wished for 🙂

I’m so happy and overjoyed with everything ending well, I don’t mourn my dreamt water birth at all. Whatever gets us there, we found out that even in theatre the experience can be as special and magical!

Good luck to all of you May mamas :)
