Hi ladies hope you’re all doing good and having a smooth recovery.
I had an elective C-section on 21st April. Whilst I feel ok (ish) I’m feeling anxious about the recovery period and what’s normal and what’s not so thought I’d set up this group so we could share experiences and hopefully support each other through the coming months 🩷

Im 4 weeks 2 days post c section and still having issues😂🤦🏼♀️ if i dont laugh about it i end up crying about it😂 im on antibiotics, have cream to apply and now seeing the tissue viability team as part of my wound is still open and the skin around it was very red and inflamed, saw them monday they dressed it so hopefully im now on the road to recovery 🤦🏼♀️x

Hello! I had a c section on 16th April and am starting to feel semi normal but I think I’m putting way too much much pressure on myself to ‘bounce back’ - it’s such a slow process and I’m not very good at being patient! Xx

Hi! I had an unplanned c section on 22nd April. Also feeling ok and anxious about the recovery period too. Love this idea of a support group ❤️

Hi! I'm 10 weeks post C-section today & still finding recovery hard, still have some discomfort/pain so I'm not moving very well & unable to do a lot with my little boy.
I've also had an infection since 4 or 5 weeks so keep getting holes in the wound opening up, all they've been doing is applying a gel & dressing it - it's quite sore! I feel so disappointed & held back, just want to get on with being a mama! x

I had my C-section on the 21st April, I’d been feeling really well, stopped taking my pain killers after around 2 weeks, moving about fine but being gentle with myself. Then 3 days ago I slipped down half our stairs, and ever since I’ve had a slight pain on one side, almost like a pulled muscle sensation. Other than that, I’m experiencing a lot of numbness and nerve pain between my incision and belly button, so I’ve been gently massaging my stomach (not my incision) to help with recovery.
