I am booked in for an induction on Thursday and I am absolutely terrified. I got induced four years ago with the balloon and I am hoping this time they won’t have to induce me with the pessary or balloon as I am 2cm dilated.
What’s everyone’s experience of being induced via their waters being broken? Appreciate any advice or personal experiences 😭

Im the exact same. Was induced 4 years ago with rods then gell then had to have my waters broke. Now im due in tomorrow and the midwife said they'll be able to break my waters as im 2cm. Hoping someone else who comments has had a positive experience👏🏻

I’m being induced for the 2nd time currently. Came in at 2cm but my cervix wasn’t thin enough to break my waters so I had the propess for 24 hours which was intense but they said it fully thinned my cervix and got me to 3 cm but have now been on a waiting list for my waters to be broken for 32+ hours and counting 😭

I was 2cm when I went in for my induction, pessary was in for 6hrs and got to 5cm. I had my waters broken in both labours now. This time round labour progressed steadily after they were broken. I was dreading having an induction as my 1st was spontaneous but honestly, it was a super healing birth for me. Praise be to the tens machine. Good luck xx
