8 month sleep regression?

Is anyone else going through a sleep regression at 8 months close to 9 months?? Baby is only napping for maybe an hour in the daytime if I’m lucky and is staying up maybe around 2 hours past her bedtime which is pretty tiring. We are also dealing with congestion issues at night 💔I thought the regression would be much later when she starts to crawl/walk? Is this a normal timeframe?

My daughter was born in August and she is doing the same thing with sleep, hardly napping and staying up later. But she's already been crawling and will be walking soon so I can't really say for sure if those things are correlated or not

Ohhhh I thought I was going crazy confused on why he’s not sleeping at his usual bedtime even though our days hasn’t changed he just started crawling and sitting up on his own and I know that they say when the babies learn new skills they struggle to sleep so maybe that’s why

Yes. My son born in August is also taking shorter naps and going to sleep later .. I was really lucky before he was going to sleep around 7:30 now it’s 930 or 10 but still waking up pretty early (most mornings by 630 or 7)

Yes, my baby is 9 months old and she is not sleeping well at night, also her naps are all over the place, and separation anxiety.

My girl learned how to sit up and is currently stuck in the pre-crawling phase where she rocks back and forth on her hands and knees. It’s adorable but wow she goes crazy with it at 9pm when she’s supposed to already be asleep by 7:30 😭 you’d think she’d get tired and sleep in during the early morning but she still wakes up bright and early regardless

I’m glad I’m not alone everyone! The change basically happened overnight and the lack of sleep is getting to me 🥲

My son is 8 months, will be 9 months on the 14th and is doing the exact same thing pretty much. Nap times are honestly a toss up. Sometimes he sleeps for 20-30 minutes other times it could be an hour or 2. Sometimes he fights naps and doesn't end taking one until much later. Bed time is sometimes struggle and he will fight it and stay 2 hours or so past his bedtime. He's learned to crawl, learning to stand up on his own and take a few steps and getting the 2 bottom front teeth all at the same time so it's been a little crazy lol.

Bath too hot?

I feel horrible, my baby is 4 months old and she usually likes her baths. And I’m usually good at reading the temperature before I put her in, but this time I feel like I wasn’t. She was ok initially but then all of a sudden as I was cleaning her hair she because fussy and her face changed. Then she because upset and wanted to move out of her bath seat. So I quickly picked her up as the crying got worse and her skin was hot. I then laid her on her mat to soothe her and let her cool down. She is ok now and back to her smiley self but I feel horrible knowing I put her in and it was too hot for her!!! ☹️☹️☹️

5 months pp, still don’t want sex…

I’m 5 months postpartum and it’s still painful to have sex. I had a C Section, so the scar still feels weird and uncomfortable being touched down there. Has anyone else gone through this? Is it normal or should I be worried?

Dr Google says my body could still be in shock from having a baby and it’s stopping me from enjoying anything.

Little one cries when my husband holds him

Our son is just over 5 weeks old, and for the past 2–3 weeks he cries almost every time my husband holds him. The only position he seems comfortable in is the “football” hold, but he won’t nap that way.

It’s becoming really stressful for both of us. I feel like I can’t properly nap, get ready, or let my husband settle him during the night without him crying, and I know it’s upsetting for my husband too. What makes it harder is that our son is happy and naps being held by other family members.

Is this something other parents have experienced, and does anyone have any advice or solutions that helped?

I cannot be the only mum heading to bed right after I put my toddler down????

I'm a SAHM with a 15 month old. She naps a total of 1 hour during the day. Still on 2 naps. I'm EXHAUSTED by 7.30pm when she goes to bed. She is up at 6am so I literally find myself crawling into bed the moment I've got her down. Sometimes I scroll for an hour. But sometimes I'm going straight to sleep.

Anyone with me???

Nappy size

What size nappies are your little people in now? I feel like we’re close to moving up to size 4 but I’m sure our first wasn’t in size 4 until much later 😅😅
