Before becoming a sahm I 100000% misunderstood what it meant and what it took. Now that I’m one I feel very overlooked & drained basically every day. So with that said, I MISS having a career :(.

He works from home so he hears it all lol

He actually does coz he looked after my first newborn for 4 days 4 nights totally by himself coz I had chicken pox and Drs orders at the time was to completely isolate, (which stuffed up my BF w her) I stayed in the garage where we’d completely renovated it for guest housing so it was a full furnished bungalow. But when she started showing symptoms at day 4 I said F it and came up, I missed my baby. And he looks after baby regular half a day for me to go see friends or go to a gfs bday/event etc. for 3yrs he’s done bedtime solo 2 nights a week for me to go dance lessons so he’s has his fair share of looking after/putting baby to sleep. I don’t miss having a career as long as I keep up my social life w friends and my hobbies. Coz even if I was working what I’d be looking forward to is my Friday nights out and family time on weekends which I get as a sahm
